Have you ever seen someone proverbially "lose the wind in their sails"? How about a rug pull? Maybe a blow to the gut? They all represent a similar occurrence and can be rectified with The Secret Formula for Self Confidence.
Timeless, Ageless & For Everyone
The loss of confidence can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. That alone is not the issue. So can rain for that matter. It only matters if you're missing an umbrella, boots or a slicker.
Fortunately there is a body of work that was done nearly a century ago that still remains apropos today. Some would argue it is more important than ever and is applicable in so many ways.
Available for free and to everyone in the public domain is a book that captures the approaches, thinking and tactics of some of the most successful and richest men of their time. Today that book would have equal if not higher numbers of women list.
Either way, included in the holy pages of the book (which I'll name at the end of the article), is a very well known formula although I would argue that many have summed it up as common sense to focus on how you, your children, your loved ones and even your friends can conquer the most monumental of challenges.
It is known as the formula for self confidence.
What is Self Confidence?
This is a great question. As 10 different people and you will receive 20 different answers. It is a state of mind. It is being resilient. It is having faith and absolute surety.
They are all correct to some degree. They all embody the spirit of self confidence and what it employs in a person's life. How does it apply to the cryptosphere?
Think about it for a second. Whether your belief continues or leaves the decision you made regarding a particular project; you're correct!
Let that sink in for a moment.
If you believe in your decision, then everything associated with the project is painted through the the glass being half full. You seek opportunity. You search for the growth. You look for the continued golden outcomes.
Now let's go the other way. If you Lose or Stop belief in your decision behind a certain project. Remember it can be you no longer believe in the project. You can think that it was a poor investment or you can just stop believing. That decision will also be correct.
You will stop seeing the positive outcomes. You will also take advantage of every moment to find something wrong with the situation or look for the negative outcomes. You will focus on the glass being half empty.
Makes sense right? I bet you have numerous examples in your life where this plays out over and over. It could be at home while you're doing the dishes, or when you're out with friends. The "vibe" you have is a manifestation of your belief & whether you are half full or half empty.
So, let's take a look at this formula for self confidence. I think you will find that you can apply it to your own life as well as teach others are around you.
The Formula for Self Confidence
This formula will require a few moments of your day, everyday. In today's fast food culture, I am hoping you're not expecting this to be a drive through window. Although, it could be. Remember, if you believe you can you will.
Step 1
In your journal or in front of the mirror say to yourself (maybe even write it on the mirror): "I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life. I demand of myself persistent, continuous action towards its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action."
Step 2
"I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical action, and gradually transofrm themselves into physical reality. Therefor, I will concentrate my thoughts for 30 minutes daily upon the task of thinking of the person I intend to become, thereby creating in my mind a clear mental picture of that person."
Step 3
"I know through the principle of autosuggestion, any desire that I persistently hold in my mind will eventually seek expression through some practical means of attaining the object back of it. Therefore, I will devote ten minutes daily to demanding of myself the development of self-confidence."
Step 4
"I have clearly written down a description of my definite chief aim in life, and I will never stop trying until I shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for its attainment."
Step 5
"I full realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice. Therefor, I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others. I will elimiinatd hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because i will believe in them, and in myself. I will sign my name to this formula, commit it to memory and repeat it aloud once a day, with full faith that it will gradually influence my thoughts and actions so that I will become a self-reliant and successful person.
The Book
If you have come across the formula before, you will know that it was written by Napoleon Hill in the Book, Think and Grow Rich. The book is a compilation of research of the most successful men of the time including Carnegie, Rockefeller, Edison and others.
The book was written a century ago and the teachings still hold true today. In fact in just the first 30 pages alone you will recognize the work that has been gathered, used and perpetuated by many of the super successful and popular today.
Personally I recognize these teachings and principles in much of the work from mega talents such as Tony Robbins, Russel Brunson and even Gary Vaynerchuck. It's also readily apparent that these teachings are also present in the work of Ben from Bitboy Crypto as well as Ivan on Tech and even project leaders like Ed Hoskinson from Cardano.
Now this author does not know whether these folks have read the book or not, but I can say for sure that the principles in the book are present in their work. So let the results speak for themselves.
If you put in the effort to Think and Grow Rich (and not just financially), then you will Think and Grow Rich. Now how are you going to share and teach this with your kids?
Yes, there are books of a kind that discuss how to build self-confidence. There is also a book with the title: think and have a big heart. It's also a great book for building better self-confidence.
One of the ways to practice self-confidence is to practice speaking without an audience or listener. You can do it in front of the mirror. Just speak boldly. Or, let's just say that everyone in front of you is part of your family. Wouldn't you be more relaxed if you talked to your own family?
Of the many trainings on building a good personality, self-confidence is a common problem. I've also had self-confidence issues to some extent.
