December 2020
Late last year I recall seeing a tweet or some news that in essence said something to the effect of
Why is everyone pinning their hopes on DGB?
One thing is for sure in the crypto space, there are fans. There are non-fans too.
It's kind of shocking at some level at how harsh the commentary can be. For the most part everyone is pulling in the same direction but the competition can change the dynamics in a pinch.
Updates 2021
Ending 2020 the way it did with the state of affairs across the world from health to governments to finances, one might understand the harsh commentary.
Fortunately 2021 has taken off. You could say that when the bulls are running everyone forgets about all of the other nonsense.
It's kinda like your family. When a family member is pulling their own weight, no one pays too much attention. But change that dynamic around and all of a sudden that same person can't take a breath, blink or smile in a way with harsh criticism.
Maybe not the same reason entirely, but it's really good to see the few updates that have come across the ticker in 2021 for DGB.
AntumID is on DGB which will be good from Lunar Crush to other platforms. Also just seeing some news around Digibyte and Wordpress is very exciting too.
I have no doubt there will be more to come in terms of news, opportunities and other happenings, but for now this momentum.
Momentum leads to progress. Progress Leads to Success. Success Leads to... Well I'll let you finish that one.
Looking Ahead
2020 and now into 2021 has been a really fascinating look at the most recent crypto happenings across the world. How does DGB fit into this bigger picture?
It sure seems like there is a place that is yet to be realized for DGB to be a part of.
Yet, in the meantime, patience is a virtue that is valued in the HODL mentality yet isn't it comical how that can run conflict to much of the expectations of the common crypto advocate.
In a time when it is not uncommon to see the 30%, 40% and even multiples swings in a day, that is where benefit can be realized.
I have no doubt that by the end of December 2021 and moving into 1 Jan 2021, that the stories will be many, the new class of crypto millionaires will have been anointed and all of those "should have been" scenarios will be fresh in mind as well.
