Some people say: "Money makes the world go round". Somehow the statement has some truth in it. After all, it takes money to buy food, clothes, and rent or buy a house. The role of money in society is extremely important. If the money were withdrawn as a medium of exchange, in a month we would be in a state of panic and war."

Of course, money has its limits. With money “you can buy food, but not an appetite; medicine, but not health; soft beds, but no sleep; knowledge, but not wisdom; splendor, but not beauty; splendor, but not warmth; fun, but no joy; acquaintances, but not friends; servants, but no loyalty. "

When a person maintains a balanced view of money, seeing it as a means to an end and not as an end in itself, it is possible to enjoy greater satisfaction. There is warning to loving money which goes like, “the love of money is the root of all kinds of harmful things, and in the search for this love some have it. . . they stabbed themselves with a lot of pain. However its important to keep in mind that it is the love of money, not the money itself, that hurts.

HOW DO YOU SEE MONEY

A self-examination can alert you to the need to gain a balanced view of money. For example, ask yourself the following questions.

1.Do get-rich-quick plans appeal to me?

2.Is it difficult for me to be generous with my money?

3.Do I tend to befriend people who are constantly talking about money and things they own?

4.Do I resort to lies or other unethical practices to make money?

5.Does money make me feel important?

6.Do I still think about the money?

7.Does my attitude towards money affect my health and my family life?

8.Cultivate generosity by giving to others

If you answered yes to any of these questions, make an effort to reject materialistic thoughts and temptations. Avoid friendships with people who value money and property. Instead, try to associate with people who value morals more than property.

Never let the love of money take root in your heart. Instead, keep the money where it belongs, always subordinate to your friends, family, and your physical and emotional health. This will show you that you have a balanced view of money.
