Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs were huge reptiles that lived more than 65 million years ago. There are no dinosaurs alive today. There were many different kinds of dinosaurs. Some had small feont legs, like arms, and walked on their two strong back legs. Other dinosaurs walked on four big legs, like an elephant. Some dinosaurs ate plants and some ate animals. Look closely at Diplodocus. Notice its small head and long neck for reaching high into the trees. Scientist think young dinosaurs hatched from eggs and looked exactly like their parents.

TYRANNOSAURUS REX

This fierce "tyrant lizard" dinosaur had mighty jaws and lots of sharp saw-like teeth.
