Prior to giving the Brave Browser a shot myself, I was quite skeptical of the company, as I knew nothing about it. Even after taking a look at some positive YouTube reviews, I sort of figured people were exaggerating how much they like it just to boost the amount of users, but I was honestly wrong to a certain extent. Personally, I am very glad I gave the browser a shot, and am happy that I no longer use google chrome.
One of the main reasons people seem to be interested in this browser is the fact that they offer a reward system for clicking on ads. This is nice and all, and is honestly the thing that caught my eye, but is certainly not my favorite thing about the browser. To make it quick, some of the other things I find important are the built-in ad blockers and tracker blockers. This makes it so that you receive no ads apart from desktop ads provided by Brave that you get paid in crypto currency to click on. Another feature apart from payment that I am fond of is the fact that you are given three different browser modes. The first being opening a standard window, the second being a private window, similar to Google’s private mode, and the third being a private window with tor, which hides your IP address from the sites you visit. In addition to this, you are still able to use all of the same extensions as Google Chrome, and they are just as easy to enable.
Overall, as someone with no affiliation with Brave, I do believe it is the best browser that I have ever used myself. Although there may be more out there that others have prefer, I have yet to try one myself that beats Brave.
