Near and so far. It was last week but it seems like years ago... It's past vacation time and I'm already dreaming of next year's vacation. From holiday to holiday my life goes on. I remember waiting for my paycheck, waiting for that day of the month, then the next month, and not even noticing when years have passed. Now I'm retired, counting the holidays, I don't even want to think how few are left!

The years pass us by like the wind. Far too fast and we don't realize it in time.
It's quite sad the situation we are in. While you have time to do some things you want to but there is all kind of restrictions. There are more countries in Asia planning to open for more travel but I'm not sure if I want to travel with the risk of possible quarantine in another place with possibility of unexpected extending stay
There is a lot of uncertainty and changes in the rules, you are right, it is risky to go too far from home. I did my research and there was no risk other than the car breaking down. I was lucky and returned home safely.
As long as not having to travel to another country/region, it's safer
Vacation is a beautiful period of our year. We work hard for 365 days but these days of occasion are so special
