This is the sea I like. As wild and undeveloped as possible. I'm sure many of my fellow noisers who live by the sea are used to such images. However, most want for their holidays to stay in modern hotels with all the facilities and sunbathe in places full of umbrellas and sunbeds. I, who live in a big and crowded city am fed up with construction and crowds. A deserted beach, narrow as it is, with abundant overgrown vegetation. A beach where you can just sit with your thoughts and let the wind and waves caress you. A beach that even two thousand years ago looked the same. Thassos, Greece!

haha no way my dear friend, I as you know live by the sea, and I love beaches, but I love the same kind of beaches like you without the crowd as lonely as possible, and I had find them in Cyprus and Sicily as well as in Andalucía where I live actually ;) These pictures are really inspiring I had to look immediately what´s going on in front of my terrace, and yeah I guess we can compare these places, thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures and your thoughts with us ;)
When I read what you say when you talk about the places where you have been and where you live now I understand that there are happy people in this world. I'm glad you like these simple, rustic places by the sea, in this Mediterranean climate.
