Hi guys, sorry for the delay very busy days this week but here we are for the weekly appointment with the monsters of the beloved game Splinterlands one of the most beautiful games built on Blockchain!
This week we are talking about a card of the Water element one, indeed my favourite element and the figure that represents this monster I find it very fascinating even if I do not understand if it is an elf, a human or a snake ... maybe it is all three things, a splendid fusion.
I recently used this card and I still don't know how to optimize it in Dec but I think it is a very valid card and also of high economic value since it is worth more than 4 dollars at level one.
The intention is to upgrade it to its maximum level, with all the calm of the world, because I believe that at its maximum power this monster becomes indispensable.
It is certainly a front line card but at low levels, it becomes complicated to position it unless the rulesets of the game help us ... but let's see the characteristics, the pros and cons and as always we will try it in battle.
Today we are talking about a very powerful and very expensive monster already at level one, today we are talking about:
NAGA WARRIOR
It has a MELEE attack and can be upgraded to level six.
Some Rulesets do not allow the use of this monster such as LITTLE LEAGUE which allows you to use only cards with a MANA cost of four or less, KEEP YOUR DISTANCE which does not allow the use of cards with attack and EVEN STEVENS which only allows the use of cards with even MANA.
These ferocious monsters, especially the females, fight to the end a sort of "either I win or I die".
They are cruel and brutal people and their customs are unsettling to normal beings such as eating the dead.
This ferocious half-elf half-man and half-snake monster can be used as a tank in battles thanks to its MELEE attack but also its abilities that make it perfect as a front monster!
Let's see the evolution of NAGA WARRIOR.
NAGA WARRIOR starts with the RETALIATE ability this power gives the probability to counterattack monsters with a MELEE attack that hit NAGA WARRIOR, this power for a TANK card is very valuable and useful since it allows our monster to attack several times during the round if hit with MELEE attack.
At level four our card masters a second power: ENRAGE which increases the speed and attack of the card when it is hit-making our monster even more powerful and faster.
This monster starts with a MELEE attack of two medium-low attacks at level one but can become a real power at level six by reaching 5 attack points.
NAGA WARRIOR is a very fast card right from the start with 3-speed points and reaches a maximum of four at level three.
This monster has no armour and its life starts at six, medium-high life, and reaches a maximum of nine at level six, a lot of life for this monster making it difficult to take down.
The MANA cost of five I think is appropriate for this EPIC card which once upgraded becomes a real tough nut to crack and its high attack makes it dangerous for the monsters it hits.
We just have to see NAGA WARRIOR in action
LET'S GOOOO!
RULESETS:
STANDARD: No changes to Rulesets in-game.
MANA: 17
DEPLOYMENT:
My opponent chose the FIRE element by deploying the Summoner PYRE card RARE with a Mana cost of three, this card has the power to increase the speed of friendly cards by one, in fact, it increases the dodging and the priority in the attack.
In the front row as Tank he placed a GOBLIN MECH NEUTRAL card with a Mana cost ten, a real tough nut to crack, he has a lot of armour and life and also a powerful attack of four, at the sight of this monster I shivered with fear.
In the second row he placed a second NEUTRAL CREEPING OOZE card with a SLOW ability that reduces the speed of the opponent's cards, it seems that my opponent has bet everything on speed in this game.
In the third row he has deployed SERPENTINE SPY common card with a MANA cost of three, he has MELEE attack but has the OPPORTUNITY ability that allows him to attack from the rear, this card also has an impressive speed of five and gives more and more credit to my thought on speed.
In the last row I think for lack of MANA he has positioned FURIOUS CHICKEN, he cannot attack he has no ability so card to steal an attack or mascot! :-)
_______
For this game I have deployed the Summoner ALRIC STORMBRINGER RARE card of the WATER element with a cost in MANA three, it has the power to increase the magic attack of friendly cards by one.
In the first position I entered our NAGA WARRIOR challenge card, I chose her for her RETALIATE ability even if at level one this card is not exactly except for the first row, her life of six is not very high even if in her favour there is the speed that could allow him to dodge some attacks at the expense of his ability ... he is a bit of a dog that bites the thing :-).
For the second and third row, I have chosen to deploy two cards with a magic attack to take advantage of the ability of the Summoner.
In the second row I inserted CAPTAIN'S GHOST RARE card with a Mana cost of seven, it has magic attack two that will become three and the AFFLICTION ability, cards afflicted by this power cannot be healed and cannot be healed.
In the third row, I have also deployed ICE PIXIE this RARE card of the WATER element with a mana cost of two, PIXIE has a magic attack of one that will become two and the FLYING ability that increases the probability of dodging.
Not having much MANA available, I only inserted these three cards hoping that NAGA WARRIOR survives enough to give my two wizards to hit hard.
It took five rounds to win the game, I didn't think I could win this game and our challenge card was not quite up to par or better, it managed to absorb a few hits allowing my wizards to take down the adversary cards.
It was a hard and not predictable fight but in the end, we took the cup home.

If enhanced, I think this card can give great satisfaction, at a basic level there are perhaps cards more suitable to be used as a tank but with some right Rulesets deployed in the rear or as a second Tank in the presence of more mana I am convinced that it can hurt more than it does. has not done in this match!
The beautiful card I also like the image and its value above 4 $ make it even more precious.
If you haven't tried this game yet my advice is to do it this is my link referral you can use the link if you like it or not but the point is always the one game to try! :-)
