Hi friends, here we are at a new appointment with the saga dedicated to the monsters of our favorite game built on Blockchain ... Splinterlands.
Today's monster is very particular, half a snake half elf, you don't know what it is. It is not among my favorites indeed when I can I avoid it but it is right to present this too!
It is part of the Fire element and I don't use it much for its high cost in Mana, I believe that for that price there are better and stronger cards that can be used ... maybe it's just a matter of strengthening or maybe habit to use others Cards.
By posting I will publish the sixth flag of the seven dedicated to this game the Life element but this is another story now focused on beauty or ugliness, it depends on tastes, challenge card this week.
The monster chosen for this week is:
NAGA FIRE WIZARD
NAGA FIRE WIZARDS from the island of fire THE BURNING LANDS are cunning wizards capable of mastering any known weapon.
They have recently mastered the art of Flaming Robe magic.
This card is part of the REWARD edition, it is a RARE card of the FIRE element but can also be used by DRAGONS.
It uses a magic attack and can be upgraded up to level eight.
Beware of RULESETS such as LITTLE LEAGUE which allows the use of only cards with a MANA cost of four or less, LOST MAGIC which does not allow the use of monsters with magic attack and ODD ONES OUT which allows the use of cards with odd MANA.
This card uses a magic attack and at level one, it starts from two attack points, reaches its maximum power of four at level seven, the magic attack is always difficult and always does a lot of harm is certainly a positive element of this card.
The speed of one is very low and is likely to always be hit improves already at level two passing to two and reaches a maximum of three at level six, enhanced improves but remains between the medium-low.
A positive note is that NAGA FIRE WIZARD starts with an armour point, which remains negative for all levels.
Life is five at base level and reaches a maximum of six at level three average life for a monster with a high mana cost.
The abilities of this card are in my opinion its strong point in addition to the magic attack, at level one it already has the SHIELD ability which reduces the damage suffered by the MELEE and RANGED attacks.
At level five there is a second THORNS ability, I really like this power and it returns part of the damage when our monster is hit by a MELEE attack.
The cost in MANA is perhaps the most penalizing point of this card, its cost of eight is very high and is not proportionate to the power of the card at least at low levels, perhaps by enhancing it improves but I think there are better cards to use.
We just have to see NAGA WARRIOR in action
LEEET'S GOOOO!
RULESETS:
STANDARD: No changes to Rulesets in-game.
MANA: 28
DEPLOYMENT:
For this battle, I chose the FIRE element by deploying the SUmmoner PYRE RARE card with a MANA cost of three.
This Summoner is able to increase the speed of friendly cards by one.
My opponent chose the EARTH element by bringing into battle the SUmmoner WIZARD OF EASTWOOD RARE card with a MANA cost of three, this Summoner is able to decrease the armour of the opposing cards by two.
In the front row, I have deployed the LIVING LAVA RARE card of the FIRE element with a MANA cost of seven, I think it is an excellent TANK thanks to its amount of life, seven, and its armour of two but above all for its SHIELD ability able to reduce damage received (except magic).
In the second row, I chose our Challenge card protected by my TANK and in case of defeat of LIVING LAVA ready to go to the front line equipped with the SHIELD ability too.
In the third row I have inserted a NEUTRAL common card, SAND WORM with SNEAK ability that despite its MELEE attack, allows it to attack from the rear, this card has a devastating attack of five.
In the last row, I deployed the FLAME MONKEY common card of the FIRE element with a MANA cost of one.
I inserted it in the last position for protection at SAND WARM in case my opponent has cards with SNEAK abilities that target the last card deployed.
My opponent has a common ELVEN DEFENDER card with no ability with life and a lot of armour as a TANK.
In the second row, he placed the GOBLIN THIEF common card of the EARTH element with a MANA cost of four.
She uses MELEE attack but has the SNEAK ability so she can attack from the rear and her target will be the last enemy card placed.
In the third row, he has deployed TOWER GRIFFIN RARE NEUTRAL card with a MANA cost of four.
She uses RANGED attack and possesses the FLYING ability which increases the chance of dodging.
In the last row, he then inserted the MANTOID common card NEUTRAL with a MANA cost of six.
MANTOID has the SNIPE ability which allows this monster to target as the first card those with RANGED, MAGIC or no attack in the first position.
It took three Rounds to win the game, despite being deprived of the armour of my monsters, my TANK withstood the various attacks received while the magical damage of NAGA FIRE WIZARD and the great power of SAND WORM took down the monsters one by one by doing a clean sweep!

This card didn't quite convince me, the high MANA cost makes me prefer other cards.
Enhanced I think it can become a good card even if, as I said several times, I keep the MANA cost really high, it is rarely seen in battle and perhaps this gives me a reason.
If you haven't tried this game yet my advice is to do it this is my link referral you can use the link if you like it or not but the point is always the one game to try! :-)
