Hi guys, let's go back to the Rulesets of my favourite game, Splinterlands.

I started this series some time ago after a friend asked me a thousand questions about how these work, at first the game can be complicated and I decided to tackle the Rulesets in groups of two in order not to make long and messed up posts. I play trying to deepen them and dissect them as much as possible.

Sometimes some things are taken for granted and I hope not to have done it myself in these posts but to be able to describe them as best as possible in every detail.

We will see the pros and cons how to best use our monsters and the secrets you need to know to face the games in the best possible way, hoping it will be pleasing to the kids who are approaching the game for the first time but also to the most experienced for points of view. different.

This is the fourth post dedicated to RULESETS, in previous we have seen HOLY PROTECTION, HEALD OUT, EXPLOSIVE WEAPONY, REVERSE SPEED, TARGET PRACTICE and KEEP YOUR DISTANCE, today we will talk about EARTHQUAKE and TAKING SIDES!
As always I hope to be able to help some new user who approaches the game and finds himself facing this complicated world but which once passed the first obstacles opens up in a fantastic game and above all I hope to help my friend @bencwarmer who someday ago he filled me with questions about the various functions of the RULESETS.

This week I'm back on the battles of my friend @ mad-runner ahead of me in the game and with a lot more RULESETS to face than me, dear mad-runner I stole your game and I'm sorry to tell you you lost this one :)

Having made this brief introduction, we start from the two RULESETS selected today, that is

EARTHQUAKE and TAKING SIDES

EARTHQUAKE or the earth that trembles, with these Rulesets our cards have no changes in terms of power or life, and the choice of the cards, except for other Rulesets present, is free or any card can be used.
This game condition provides the game with a bit of spice, at the beginning of each turn, from the second onwards, all the monsters present in battle suffer two damage as we see in the gif below.

But not for all monsters it will be like this! in fact if we notice LIVING LAVA Tank present in the front row of my friend mad-runner, it does not suffer two damage because its SHIELD power reduces the damage suffered and therefore drops only by one life point.
In the gif you can see how all the cards lose two of their lives while LIVING LAVA only one.

But not only does this ability affect the EARTHQUAKE Ruleset, but also the FLYING ability present in SPARK PIXIES, but a card deployed by both also modifies the rulesets the cards that have this ability are not affected by EARTHQUAKE, they become immune as seen in the gif the little one ghost is skipped and has no loss of life.

TAKING SIDES is a RULESETS that does not change the characteristics of the cards but is applied before entering the battle in the choice of cards to be deployed.
With this condition, NEUTRAL cards cannot be used in the game and will be excluded before the start of the game.

Cards such as SAND WORM, GOBLIN MECH and LORD ARIANTHUS cannot be used in battle, all cards, with no exceptions, of the NEUTRAL element will not even be visible at the time of the creation of the combat team.

CONSIDERATIONS.

Today's RULESETS are very simple to learn but it is fair to talk about them because sometimes some things are taken for granted when they are not at all.
EARTHQUAKE is a very funny Rulesets and when I meet it I always like it a lot, it "gives bubbles" to the game as if it transforms them from still water to sparkling water :).
You must always pay attention to the formation of the Team because monsters without FLYING and with low life certainly will not pass the second round, cards with high life or with the above skills are preferable.

The second RULESETS is perhaps the easiest of all, there is little to understand you will not be able to use the NEUTRAL cards so for that type of game if there are NEUTRAL monsters you are fond of you will have to leave them on the bench.

Hoping to have been as clear as possible, I invite you as always to comment on any errors or inaccuracies to improve the post and make it as useful as possible for those who start playing and find themselves in difficulty with all these wonderful RULESETS.

If you haven't tried this game yet my advice is to do it this is my referral link you can use the link if you like it or not but the point is always the one game to try! :-)
