Hi guys, here is the photo post !! Today's theme is the colour green and let it be truly green and as green as possible!
For this occasion I had a photo in the archive taken this summer in one of my many trips in the woods, this was a particular wood because behind the panorama of nature with the scent of freedom there was a story or rather a legend from which the place took its name.
It goes without saying that the place is enchanting and that you completely detach yourself from the unpleasant smells of the city including smog and more as well as from the continuous noise and everyday routine.
Here peace reigns, the only sounds you hear are those of the birds and the flowing of the river and the dips of the various waterfalls, a small paradise close to home.
We are at the Bucamante waterfalls, a path through the woods in the province of Serramazzoni (Italy).
The name of this path, according to the legend, was given because two young lovers, Odina a lady who used to walk in these woods with her maid, met Titiro a shepherd, a beautiful boy who certainly did not go unnoticed.
The two began to meet in secret in these woods until one day the maid revealed the fact of her to Odina's parents who, indignant that their daughter was seeing a shepherd, locked her up in the castle prison.
Odina managed to escape and met with her beloved, aware of the fact that they would never be able to be together, they threw themselves embraced in the waterfall, creating with their weight a chasm "lovers' hole" and from there the place "BUCAMANTE" was named. or lovers' hole.
In addition, this wood has two characteristic paths, the first that runs along the river and waterfalls named Odina, the second a little more distant, same path but about forty meters higher named Titiro.
The paths took the name of the two lovers.
Very suggestive place, and easy to walk, definitely a breath of clean oxygen and here the green reigns.
