Fixing Checklist
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 cups cut mushrooms, (around 4 ounces)
cup hacked celery
cup hacked carrots
cup hacked shallots
cup generally useful flour
teaspoon salt
teaspoon newly ground pepper
4 cups decreased sodium chicken stock
1 cup speedy cooking or moment wild rice, (see Ingredient Note)
3 cups destroyed cooked chicken, or turkey (12 ounces; see Tip)
cup decreased fat harsh cream
2 tablespoons hacked new parsley
Bearings:
Stage 1
Hotness oil in a huge pan over medium hotness. Add mushrooms, celery, carrots and shallots and cook, mixing, until relaxed, around 5 minutes. Add flour, salt and pepper and cook, mixing, for 2 minutes more.
Stage 2
Add stock and heat to the point of boiling, scraping up any carmelized bits. Add rice and lessen hotness to a stew. Cover and cook until the rice is delicate, 5 to 7 minutes. Mix in turkey (or chicken), sharp cream and parsley and cook until warmed through, around 2 minutes more.
Serve hot, your Turkey soup is ready....
