My ulam this morning, Atcharang Dalusan Shoots and Indian Mango. Dalusan in our local dialect is another type of bamboo that grows here in our place. Like giant bamboo shoots, it's edible and you can make atchara (pickled), ginataan (cooked with coconut milk), or ginisa (sauted) with this. According to Google, of the 62 bamboo species, 21 are endemic or native Philippine bamboos but due to my magic signal can't check some scientific classifications. I'm only sure of these 4 that we call here as Dalusan, Bolo, Bagakay, and that giant bamboos we used to know for bamboo houses and furnitures. And my next ulam is, don't know what to call this but we used to put it with a pinch of salt or soy sauce, or if we want a mix of sour, salty, and spicy, we add "sinamak" or Iloilo Spiced Vinegar that originated here in our province. Done eating an hour ago and it feels so good to eat fresh, free, and organic food. Good Morning/Evening Noise World! πŸ™πŸ’š #Food
