What is e-SIM? Let's talk about the advantages and disadvantages.
As the days change, so does the technology. Day by day various discoveries of technology are astonishing the world.Technology is leading our world towards progress. A few days ago, Google announced that their Android phone will no longer have a SIM slot. This shocked many. But how will people communicate?
They have indicated the use of e-SIM in Android phones. For this, the SIM space of the phone is getting reduced. A maximum of five SIMs can be used simultaneously in e-SIM. This will save you more than one SIM.
E-SIM is a virtual SIM installed on the phone. Its full name is Embedded Subscriber Identity Module. It is not like ordinary SIM. But it can do everything like a normal SIM. No need to keep e-SIM in the phone.
Advantages:
1.If you change the SIM company, you do not have to change the SIM card.
2.Even if the phone gets wet, e-SIM will not be a problem.
3.Multiple numbers can be used simultaneously but e-SIM is required for this.
Disadvantages:
1.Using multiple SIMs at the same time can result in some problems such as a call to one will actually show the other off.
2.You can't transfer from one phone to another if you want to. In case of ordinary SIM, if the phone is damaged, the SIM can be opened and rolled on another phone, but this is not possible.
