First :beggar life
Begging is not an employment. A Street begger is a male or female. He/she is allso seen in the railway stations, bus stands, launch and steamer ghats. It os a curse to any country. He/She is a familiar figure in our country. He/She may be young or old,weak or strong, blind or lame. A street beggar looks strange with dirty and torn clothes. All the street beggars have their own way of life and mode of approaching for alms. A street beggar tries his best to draw the sympathy of the passers by with his peculiar voice. Some takes pity on him and gives a coin or two and goes on his way.Again, someone becomes disgusted with his loud shouts and avoids him. So, he/she is often scolded by people. His/ Her life is full miseries. If he/ She does not get alms he starves. Sometimes he/she begs food from some roadside hotels. He is the most disrespectful human figure on earth. When a person has no other alternative to feed himself,he goes on the street to beg. Obviously, it is curse for any society. All developed countries have eradicated begging from society. Our govt. Should take necessary steps to stop begging by rehabilitating them.
2nd. A Garment work
The life of a garment worker is full of hardship. She hardly enjoys the pleasures of life. Her life is like a machine. She has no good food,no good house, and no relaxation. Only during the Eid or puja she gets two or there days as holidays. However, in recent time the garment workers are trying to make some movements to increase their salaries. The govt.is also trying to better their living condition because their contribution to the National economy is very significant. In Bangladesh garments industry has flourished a lot. A greater portion of the foreign money comes from the readymade garments. Ahuge number of people are involved with this industry. The workers do not get enough money to lead their life decently. The life of a garment worker is not happy at all.
A garment workers day starts early in the morning. She gets up early and takes a light breakfast. She also takes some foods in a pot for the day. Then she rushes to the factory. She can not afford to go there by rickshaw. So,she walks fast to reach the factory. If she is a minute late,she is rebukesd by her boss.
A garment worker works in a unhealthy environment. She works in a congested room. Sometimes she works all day long standing on her feet. Sometimes she attacked with diseases. But she must continue her work despite all her problem. In the office she gets no break. Only a few minutes are given to her to take lunch which does not satisfy her hunger.
A garment worker works by the sweat of brow. Her office hours is much longer. It is usually from 8am to 8pm. But compared to her hard work she is paid very little. With her meager income she maintanis herself and her family which usually consists of her old parents and one or two kids. In fact from morning till late night she works without rest.
