Lay with me as clouds drift
Lay with me in green grass and look up to the blue sky. Lay with me as clouds drift and birds fly overhead . Lay with me as time passes and share stories of life . Lay with me as almost stranger and let me a friendship grow . Lay with me and become something more.

The grammar use for the first line is a bit confusing. Do you mean on the grass instead of in the grass? It sounded like you are forcing someone to lay down with you.
It reminds me of the song "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol 💜 its a good song. I hope you can listen to it hehehe
Indeed I think the grammar needs more attention. I wonder if this is written in English or translated. "Lay with me as almost stranger and let me a friendship grow." Here I read something that feels strange to me. How about: Lay with me as (almost) strangers and let our friendship grow.
