North Queenslander’s just got to have a bit of fun.

We all need to take a little bit of time to stop and make sure that we are having just a little bit of fun.

The old saying to “Stop and smell the roses” is as cliche as they come but it’s something that the team here at Bitcoin Cash City make sure we do regularly. Taking a little time to appreciate the meaningful things and people in our lives plays a huge role in our levels of overall happiness.

It’s true that we are very lucky to be in North Queensland which is quite possibly one of the prettiest places in Australia, maybe even the world. Surrounded by amazing national parks and awesome beaches that run right into the Great Barrier Reef it is a magnificent place to wakeup in every day.

What we are doing is a very serious undertaking, simply put you can’t change the world if you’re not serious about it. The mission to build a community which uses a new type of money is a hard one, an extremely hard one but we know it’s a worthy mission and want to make sure that we keep that in context and have some fun while doing it.

“All work and no play makes jack a dull boy” is another cliche that is as old as the hills. The early origins of this saying can be traced possibly back as far as 1659 and it’s something that rings so true today. 

We are making sure that we don’t fall into this trap and want to remind everyone else out there that shares this mission with us to occasionally stop, have a look at the moon, crack a beer and watch the sunset, listen to the sounds of the ocean, get up early and watch the sunrise, spend time with your loved ones, ring a mate you haven’t seen a while but the most important thing that you can do to show your appreciation for the glorious world and amazing souls around us is to just smile, even if it’s just a little bit.
