There are plenty of old and historic items to see and experience in this beautiful old pub but their payment system isn’t one of them.
The Railway Hotel in Ravenswood North Queensland now accepts Bitcoin Cash for meals, drinks, their world famous cellar tour and any old antiques that takes your fancy at the venue.
The venue is popular with the traveling public looking to step back in time and see a piece of history born out of the gold rush era in North Queensland.
The pub was built in 1902 and cost the publican of the day £5200 British pounds. The historic features of the pub have been retained and include a ladies lounge out the back of the bar (remembering that ladies were not allowed in the public bar of pubs in Australia at the turn of the previous century).
