SquidGame Doll Is Becoming a Hype by itself
What Made This Serie Such a Hit
It's intense and lugubrious, these makers are masters of their craft, they are very good at building tension. Who is cruel enough to pit 456 contestants against each other and play each other out? Players are under the watchful eye of guards in red suits, which doesn't make the atmosphere in the series much more pleasant. Squid Games has been named one of the best Netflix Originals to date and that soon, because this series is from September 17, 2021.
That's not all
Because, an observant TikTok fan has come up with a theory of this series.
Characters in this series are divided into workers and players. You can recognize them by the outfits: Workers wear green-blue tracksuits. In the series we see that the players enter the game through a business card, but how do the workers end up in the game?
Before characters start the game, they are faced with an important choice. We see in episode one that the main player of the series - Seong Gi-Hun- playing a game of Ddakji. In this game, Gi-Hun is asked to choose between a red or blue card. He ultimately chooses the blue card.
SquidGame take the Blue Pill---ehh card
Like all other participants, we see Gi-Hun again as a player because he went for the blue card. So the theory suggests that everyone who chooses a blue card becomes a player, the other people who choose a red card to become workers. Both characters are numbered. They are all selected in the same way, but what they become simply depends on the color.
The comments under the Tiktok video are going wild as someone says: WAIT - that's the reason they say everyone is equal so that must mean the staff are just people in debt too!. Someone else says: Omg this makes so much sense.
What do you think of this hype surrounding the new series? Are you addicted to it like me? Or did it gross you out?
