So a quick follow up on my previous post regarding tipping. NoiseCash is experimenting with different tipping logics. Currently it seems that the more you post the less you receive per post. It looks like a limit is set on about $2.00 every 12 hours. So once you reached that, your rewards will drop to almost nothing. Now I am seeing positive and negative impact. Positive better spread of wealth as you get the same reward if you post 2 or 10 articles a day. So people with few posts earn more per post. Negative impact, posters of good content will not see any benefit of creating several posts daily. Spamposters will only need many followers to get to their daily Max rewards. @Noise.Cash correct me if I am wrong this is purely based on my experience @All that read this ...how have you been experiencing the current tipping strategy/ algorithm? #NoiseCash

I feel like it evens things out, even if it's not perfect yet. One of the concerns I raised about the heart-tips was that people with more subscribers would benefit more, regardless of content quality. This equalisation at least makes it fairer to new Noisers.
I have a feeling it's your 2 first posts will get massive tips and the rest will be rewarded with crumbs, every 24 hours.
Well in my case it´s often only the first, but massive indeed
yes my observation is very similar
Everyone is assuming there is some logic or rationale behind the weird tipping amount behavior on noise.cash . I think it is purely random, or maybe the computer code responsible for this is just buggy?
Nope there is a timer and a max amount per user...my first morning post gets a crazy amount of tips from a few peeps an a good post with 50 likes after that one gets 0,02 ct. Not that it matters....but I just cant stand not knowing
Weird. So if my first post is an ode to my toenail fungus, and my second post is a review of a wonderful new DEX/Wallet combination site that does NOT require KYC, my first post will get lots of money, while my second will not. Well, that will definitely encourage interesting posts!
I would highly appreciate more toenail fungus posts, even this comment got a higher reward then my 3 latest post just because my first shit post made over 2 dollars
You know, that actually depresses and ticks me off! The ONLY way I can think of that this is a good thing is that the software they're using is looking for certain keywords. Let's experiment: One day, fumbling through my wallet whilst waiting for the DEX to clear out, SLP, my super hot ex-girlfriend, slithered up to me, and whispered in my ear, "BCH or BLT, I don't care. Give me a tip, and I'll make you a happy boy!" Needless to say, she got my attention! I could feel my "personal markets" beginning to rise, and projected anticipation of a lucky run occurring tonight. But then I remembered that she was a stickler for KYC, and notorious for flaking out once the markets got unstable. No thanks! I'll find a more stable place to deposit my coins!
Not sure if they changed the software...just today....but you are definitely on to something.. borrowed your story but i thought 46 cts covers the copyright and even though I had a hit post a couple of hrs ago this one made over 2 cts ...not the 46 you did but still
How about that? From now on, refer to me as DEX, and I'll call you Mr. BTC. (Or would you prefer Mr. BCH?)
Definitely BTC....Mr. Dex..... I think you're BCH on.... although I might have gotten overexcited....as the markets on my side turned bearish after an 11 cent gain.
Wow ....... that like I just gave you was worth 14¢ ! Yet on your Miss SLP thread, it was worth nuthin! I still think these tips are just random.
Well DEX I might have been on their low list for some hours as my personal market indicators just showed an uptrend since the other coins & tokens started their down trend. Still I think that in times like these it would be hard to keep a good SLP down
You just got a 46 cent tip that is crazy I think you are on to something
