Last week: Midnight Gems - Your Free Mix-Tape Show - E 17 "Pick Up The Pace" was a bit of an odd session, but it had a fun theme and was a great hint...although nobody got it😁
So to stay in last week's theme let´s take a road trip to Rome...nah let´s just listen to a band I just discovered with the same name.
I was looking for a song that spoke about losing hope to end Chapter 22 of my current story with Beyond Doubt: Whispers of the Unseen - Chapter 22 and this one felt like a perfect fit.
Enjoy this dark and hopeless tune from a band I will need to deep dive into because damn they sound WOW.

No worries I am not gonna do a dark song theme, but of course this trip has to flow so no bright lights yet...as we enter a Darkwood.

Okay, we will pick up the pace a little with Pussyfire oh no that is how I keep reading that name maybe it´s meant more as a persiflage on a pacifier. Whatever, it is done very well but it´s all smoke and mirrors just like most things in life.

As we started in Rome this trip has to end in Rome to come full circle and this little Gem does just that.

Somewhere lost in time, trying to escape out of the rabbit hole back into the rat race there is a vacuum..... that´s the place where midnight gems are found.
My Midnight Gems will try to uncover & recover those beautiful songs that nobody ever noticed or might have been forgotten.
Who the fluff am I?
Being a former DJ playing about everything and having an uncompleted study of radio journalism. I have been wanting to do this for years...Thought about it many nights and guess now it´s time to finally take it to the streets.
