Frustration.
There are times that you see people frustrated and the next thing that comes to your head is about relationships. There are times when you will even have money and you will still be frustrated. Frustration may not even come from being broke at times. It may come from external sources and I will give you some examples to buttress my point. I wrote about paying my electricity bill yesterday and it was not successful. I tried over thirty times yesterday and all my efforts were futile. My other housemates also tried it and it was not successful too. Then, I wrote about a housemate who was inside sleeping while others were trying to pay the electricity bill. Now, the frustration may come in two ways. It may be because we have been trying to pay the electricity bill and it was not successful or because someone was sleeping inside while other people were trying to do it. Yesterday, what got me frustrated was that we have been trying to pay the bill and someone was sleeping inside thinking that we must pay the bills and her duty is to be sleeping inside while we are paying the bill.
Then what got me frustrated today is that the electricity bill we have been trying to pay since yesterday is still not successful. Have you ever felt frustrated because you have been trying to do something for days and it did not work? It gets me annoyed and makes me mad whenever I'm doing something and it keeps on failing. Such a thing will get me annoyed and it will make me do everything in the wrong manner. They are sometimes that my internet connection will be very poor but I have something reasonable to do on my phone and because of that I may begin to get angry unnecessarily. No matter how mature you think you are or how come you think you are some things will still make you frustrated. The funny thing is that if you hear that some people are frustrated just because of a slight issue, you may laugh at them because it will be so funny for someone to get angry because of an electricity bill but when it happens to you, you will understand how they feel.
I was sharing a story with my friends some time ago and I told them that I once cried in traffic. The journey was not supposed to be more than an hour and thirty minutes but it turned out to be over five hours and I was very angry. The major thing that got me angry was that I was going to present a cake to my ex-boyfriend and I got there very late at night. They already finished the event and every other thing before I got there so it was just like I was left out. When I started crying on the bus, some people were looking at me and some did not even take it as something serious because they know how hectic the traffic was and a lot of us were getting angry already. These things may look very little to you but sometimes, they get to us.
The only thing about me is that I am too emotional and that is why I cry when things like this happen. If it happens to another person, he or she may just feel frustrated but not to the point of crying but I realized that the way we handle issues is very different from each other. We are different people and we are going to handle issues differently. I know that if you share with me some things that get you frustrated I may laugh at you because it may not get me frustrated even if it happens to me. At the same time, all the things I've shared here may not even be enough to get another person frustrated. This is why you see some people get angry at slight issues that you feel like they're just supposed to let slide.
Anyway, I'm frustrated today. It's a frustrating day for me.
She Got Me Angry.
I have learnt something in this life that no matter how bad something is, some people will still do it even though they know that it is bad. Also, I learnt that some people are not ready to sacrifice any of their things for the purpose or for the use of the public which they would also benefit from it. Some people are very egocentric and they are not ready to share their thing with anybody. The funniest thing about it is that these people would want to benefit from you but they would not want you to benefit from them. People like that cannot be on this platform because there are some people on this platform that would not want to share their money with others but want the random rewarder to tip them. Something happened in my compound this morning and it got me annoyed.
There was light in my area this morning but there was no light in my house because our electricity bill has been exhausted and we are expected to pay another bill. Two people tried to pay the electricity bill on their phone through their bank application but all their efforts were futile. I volunteered to pay from my bank application because I realized I have a bonus that will be for the benefit of every one of us. I tried it over four times but they kept on reversing my money. I used my second bank application and I realized it was the same thing so I felt the issue is from the electricity company. While trying with my phone, some other people also tried on their phones to see if they would be able to pay the electricity bill but they were unable to do so.
Would you believe that while all of these were going on, a lady was inside, sitting down and texting all of us on phone to know if we have been able to pay the electricity bill? She texted me but I did not reply because I was so angry. Does she think it is our responsibility to be struggling to pay the electricity bill while she will be sitting inside the house? I got very angry because of the non-challant attitude. It is a nonchalant attitude. If it's not, she won't sit while all of us will be struggling to pay the money. I stopped trying and my sister also stopped trying because we got angry at what the lady did. Our phone batteries were very flat so we had to go to my sister's boyfriend's place to charge our phones. I am very sure that they have not been able to pay the bill.
That's what got me angry on a Sunday morning. I wish you all a peaceful day ahead.
Things I Will Never Allow.
Hi guys. I'm sure we all have the things we love and the things we will never allow. I'll tell you the things that I can't take. It may be very surprising but you will be glad to know me😊.
One major thing I can never take from anyone including my family members is wearing my cloth. I would not love to use negative words here so I will just say that I dislike it. It annoys me when I see someone wear my cloth. My cloth is one thing that is very personal to me and I will never watch anyone wear my cloth. At the same time, I can never wear another person's cloth. It is something I detest so much. My friends know me for this. Whenever they are coming along to my place, they always bring their clothes. If they don't, I will dash them mine and never collect it back.
Another thing I can't take is disrespect. I can't stand it. I'm not a lady who disrespects other people and I won't let another person disrespect me. I shared this here a few days ago. I was on a call with my friend. We've gotten along with each other and we talk every day. Most times, we were on a video call. I told him that I was having a runny nose and he called me. I had to blow mucus in my tissue while on the video call. He got angry and cut the call on me. He had to text me and he told me that I'm disgusting and disrespectful. I will never stand someone saying those awful words to me. Why would he say that? Doesn't he blow mucus too? I apologized but stopped talking to him. I apologized because I wanted peace to reign. I don't think I can ever be close to him again. He disrespected me and I will never take that.
Also, I can never allow you to disrespect any of my family members. Family is everything. They are all I've got. I can't just stand someone insulting my family members or quarreling with them in my presence. I will fight the person. Even if my sibling and I are not on good terms if you come to fight him, I will fight you too. I learnt something from my parents since I was little. We were told to always have each other's back. I can't have another family. This is why I cannot choose anyone over my family members. No matter how much I love you, I won't choose you above my family members. That's my rule and that is how I will continue to behave. Even if I have a boyfriend I so much love, I still won't choose him over my family members.
Lastly, I can't watch you do bad to my friend. I'm a very loyal person. I'm loyal to my family and friends. No matter how bad they are to me, I won't take it from anyone. A lot of people have sold their loyalty by betraying their friends maybe because someone has paid them to do so. It is not nice. Also, some friends are real enemies. They may just be following the so-called friend maybe because of the money that one gives them. It's not nice. I can't fake being friendly. If I don't like you, I will make it known to you. I can't fake it. If anyone is planning to do anything bad to my friend, I will fight for my friend. Remember, some friends are like family members. Some people are irreplaceable and that's why we should treat people with love and loyalty. Some friends may even do more than what your family members will do for you. Some friends are from heaven. Don't throw them away.
I Dislike It When They Are Not Available.
I am sitting inside, lonely, and thinking of what to write. I wanted to use the toilet and I realized that there was no water which is making me write about this topic right now. So, I want to write about the things I dislike so much. If these things are not available I get angry unnecessarily. If I begin to mention it, I am sure it will be the same way or almost the same way for every other person because they are the essential things that we need and that we use every day. Let me list them.
**Water**
I so much dislike it when there is no water available. I stated earlier that I wanted to make use of the toilet and that was when I realized that there is no water available in the compound. Also, we are very lucky that we have a reserved tank at the back of the house but if there is no reserved water in that tank, we will have to start looking for water on the street. Water is very essential and I am very sure that we all can not go a day without water. We use water for virtually everything that we do. This is why I always say that you can never be an enemy to water because you need water in one way or the other. We need water to cook, wash, clean, take our baths, and do other things. Let's imagine that there was no water on Earth, I am very sure that a lot of us will not survive for a week. I will have to go to the reserve tank to fetch water now.
**Money**
The note on this will be very short. Why? It is because we all know the usefulness of money. Who doesn't like the money? Who likes being broke? If you're one, please raise your hands and let me see you. I need to know. I don't think there is anything you can do without money. To have data on your phone, you need money. To have electricity, you need money to buy it. If you don't have money, you won't eat because you need money to buy food. You need money to transport yourself. You need money to do everything. You need money every day. Everything will be impossible for you if you don't have money. Don't let m explain further because we all know the relevance of money in one's life.
**Data**
This is another thing I dislike so much when it is not available. Have you ever heard anyone say that data is life? It is so true and that is just the fact. Data is life. Life without data cannot be very interesting because such a person will not have access to different information on the world and it will make the person seem not to be knowledgeable. With data, we can entertain ourselves, learn, meet different people, and even do other things. Data keeps you alive and that is why you find a lot of people sitting alone for hours without talking to other people because they are being entertained by whatever it is they are watching or they're doing on their phone with their data. When I don't have data, it is always as if the world wants to end because I won't be able to do anything. Data is everything.
**Light**
I dislike it when there is no light or electricity. Presently there is no electricity to pump water and that is why there is no running water. It is so annoying. Nigerian electricity workers can be very mad. When there is no electricity, it is always as if everything is off for me. I a much dislike darkness. I dislike it when my phone is off because if there is no light, I won't be able to charge my phone or power bank. Also, if there is no light, I won't be able to preserve food in my fridge. If there is no light, I won't be able to use electric iron to iron my cloth. It's so annoying. Very annoying
All the things I listed here, when they are not available, I get frustrated and it makes me cry.
Dear Parents, Give Us The Freedom We Need.
Our parents are people that we look up to and at the same time, we can call them our small god. Our parents are the first people that we know or that we meet in the world and we emulate their behaviors in one way or the other. Also, it is written in the holy book that we should respect our parents and always be obedient to them. Apart from the fact that it was written in the holy book, if you respect your parents, God will continue to bless you, and your children will also respect and obey you. It is also known that a child's success is under the feet of his parents so if you want to be a successful child you need to respect your parents. It is written in the Bible that you should honor your father and your mother. The real people who want the best for us are our parents. No one loves us like our parents. It is quite unfortunate that some have lost their parents but if you still have them, hold them right. Respect and obey them. When we were little this is all that we have been thought in school and our various religious sections but the world is changing and things are changing. No matter what changes, your parents will continue to be your parents and you have to respect and obey them.
Two days ago, my sister's friend came around and they began talking about our mothers. You know we are different people and we are surely going to be having different problems. As for her, her mother wants her to begin to take on some responsibilities at a young age. She is working but her work is not that lucrative and she gives her mother 40% of whatever she makes and still goes to her house to buy gifts for her mother. Then she began to complain that her mother is demanding too much from her. I know that the joy of a parent is to train a child to a particular stage in life when the child will begin to take care of the parents too. Also, the joy of a parent is to see their child do so well in life and can take care of them very well. But the lady complained that her mother is demanding too much more than she can afford. While talking about that, her mother's call came in. She placed the call on the loudspeaker and her mother began to list the things that she wants for her. The woman said hello to my sister too because she knows my sister very well.
When my sister began talking about what my mum was always telling her to do, she talked about marriage. Recently, my mum is fond of calling my sister whenever she sees any other friend's child doing a wedding ceremony. Do you know why she calls my sister? She calls my sister to remind her of when she will get married. It is not nice. I learnt something in life that everyone has their own time and when it is time for you to achieve something in life, you will surely achieve it no matter what challenge or difficulty. Reminding my sister of when she will get married is just like her trying to force her into a marriage and it is known that if you rush into marriage you will rush out. I would love to tell you that not only my mother is like this. There are lots of mothers out there who just want their children to do something without even thinking about the repercussions afterward. But if you try to explain the repercussions afterward, they wouldn't hear you out. Our African parents are advocates for listening to them even without giving it a second thought but the world has changed and things are no longer going that way.
Our parents should leave us to live and survive. We all are indeed spiritual beings but at the same time, we are logical beings. God created logic so that will be able to use it to navigate life and we will be able to think in the right manner. I know a lot of people out there that would not wish to tell their parents what is going on in their life because they know what their parents will say about it and instead of reasoning and thinking with them the parents will reason in another way around which may not even tally with the situation at hand. I hope parents give children the freedom to think and to choose what they like and do it at their convenient time instead of imposing it on the child.
Dear parents, give us the freedom we need.
Let's Pray.
When things seem to be very hard, pray. Learn to pray and pray to God to survive. While praying to survive, learn to be able to survive too. No matter what happens, we gotta survive. We just have to!!!
When it feels like things are not going the way it is supposed to, just pray. Tell God how you want it to be. God indeed has plans for everyone but at the same time, tell him what you want. Even if it doesn't happen the way you want, it will still align with what you want.
Have you ever been in a situation where everything seems to be dark? I mean, you don't know your next step in life, you don't know the next thing for you to do in life. All you know is that you are living. It's a bad thing. When you are in this situation, you gotta pray. Pray to God to lead you and also to guide you.
Do you have bad dreams a lot? Have you ever seen yourself fighting in your dream? Did you win or lose? If you won, it is victory. It means you conquered your enemies. If you lose, it means you haven't won them. What do you think the solution is? Prayer is the solution!! You gotta pray!!!
Have you ever put your mind into something and at the end of the day, it failed? I'm talking about you seeking an opportunity somewhere and the road got blocked. The solution is prayer. Pray!! Pray for the Lord to open merciful doors for you.
Are you thinking that you're not in the position that you're supposed to be in life? I've heard that many times. Some people call me and tell me that I'm supposed to be above what I am today. It's not my fault but at the end of the day, I gotta pray!!! If you fall into this category, pray to God to take you to your promised land.
Have you ever heard about spiritual husbands? Yeah, it is real!! It exists!! It brings bad luck to ladies and prevents them from having a husband or even a stable relationship. A lot of people think they can never get out of it. Who told you? The only way to get out of it is by praying. Pray!! Pray to have a stable relationship. Pray to have a beautiful marriage and wonderful kids.
Are you scared of your enemies? I just realized that there are real enemies who do not want us to survive. Some don't want us to succeed while some don't want us to survive. A lot of people have been so dealt with by their enemies and they surrendered to the enemies already. How do you think you can overcome your enemies? It is by praying!! You gotta pray!!! Just pray!!
You have to pray and fast!! Honestly, I am a prayerful person but it's quite unfortunate that I don't pray everyday due to laziness, and sometimes I may be busy. Something happened to me today and it gave me more reason to thank God and even advise people to pray.

Today's Gist.
So I'm bringing some hot topics to your table and I want you to judge them and tell me your opinion on them. Let's go!! I have been talking to a guy for over four months. I didn't give him so much attention because I was talking to someone I liked so much. We weren't dating but the likeness was there. We like each other till now. Something happened and we quarreled so we agreed to stop talking frequently. It's hard but I just gave the other guy my attention so that I will be able to get over the previous one. The plan worked out. We began to talk every day. We talk about various things and even personal things that I may not want to share with someone else. He wooed me but I told him to give me time. Honestly, I am yet to get over the previous guy. I loved him too much even though nothing happened. A few days ago, I met the guy that I talk to every day. We went out to have fun. I'm so glad that he didn't bring up the topic of wooing me. We're so free with each other that we say some stupid words to each other.
Two days ago, I told him that I was having catarrh. He had to video call me to see my face. I was holding a tissue paper which I was using to blow mucus. While we were talking, I blew the mucus on the tissue. Honestly, I am very neat with whatever I do. He didn't see the mucus but I guess he doesn't like it when someone blows mucus. He should have just told me but he cut the call on me. He had to text me that what I did was so disgusting and disrespectful. I was pained and I told him that I'm sorry but I already made up my mind to stop talking to him. A man that wants me will correct me for my mistakes instead of telling me that I'm disgusting. If those words were said to you, you'll feel very bad. He texted me in the evening and said he was sorry. I didn't even complain about it since I already made up my mind to reduce the way I talk to him. What's your take on this?
Let's go to the second story. My friend has a guy that they like each other so much. So, they began to have things together. I thought they were dating because it looked like they were in love with each other. Something happened between them and they parted ways. After three days, they began to talk. Now, they didn't talk about what happened to them in the past. They are now talking like normal friends. They talk almost every day but they've stopped using romantic words for themselves. What do you think they are doing? As for me, I feel like the two of them are proud to talk about what happened between them. Also, it may be that they are not ready for the conversation. It may also be that they are trying to come back together but they don't want to talk about it. What's their fate? I guess they can come back together but they are taking their time because they even plan to see whenever the guy comes to the state she is in.

I'm Not Feeling Too Well.
Firstly, I should have published this article eight hours ago but I'm not feeling too well. It started with catarrh and it became malaria. I think I need to start taking note of myself. Whenever I don't feel like eating, it means I'm about to fall sick. Also, if I feel like staying under the sun too much, it means I'm likely to have malaria. Also, if I already have catarrh, it means malaria is coming. So, it all started with catarrh for a day, and before I knew it, I already have malaria. My genotype is AC. Whenever I have malaria, my bones always pain me. I always find it difficult to stand or do any other thing. Does it happen to you too? How do you always feel when you have malaria?
My sister's boyfriend is such a kind person. My sister called him and told him that I'm not feeling too well. He had to go to a very far place to get drugs for me because there is no pharmacy around our area. All the drugs he bought for me cost about $5. I could not even think about what to write because I didn't enjoy myself today. I've not been enjoying myself for some days but it seems to be very worst today. I used the drug already and I'm getting better. I feel better than before😊. Let's take a look at the drugs I used today.
I hope I get well soon. I'm glad that I'm responding to treatment. Don't worry, I'll be back with full force. As you can see, I have a pap in the picture. I could not eat so my sister made pap for me but I'm glad that I was able to eat tonight.

Wickedness, Jealousy, and Hatred.
I'm sad! I'm very sad about the negative things happening in society. The saddest part of it is that we all see them as normal things that we can live with and it is not supposed to be so. Some behaviors are absurd and uncalled for because we have been living with them, we already made them a part of us and feel like it is a normal thing. All I want to talk about is wickedness and hatred. I remember when I was in primary school. We were taught a lot of things in class mostly with music because it is believed that if we learn things in a way of singing them, we will be able to remember very fast. It has always worked for me and it is still working for me. In primary school, we were taught the acceptable things in society alongside the negative ones. We were made to differentiate between the wrong and right actions of ways of living. Subjects like these are Civic education, social studies, and a lot more. This is why we buy stories, read them and point out the moral lessons from those stories. With this, I believe that if you do the right thing, you know what you're doing. Also, if you do the wrong thing, you know what you are doing too. I'm sure we also learnt Bible Studies or Qu'ran in school. They help us to know the things God wants us to do and the things he doesn't like. The happy thing about all of these is that it prepares us to start a life to know a better way of living.
We all learnt that being wicked is not good and it is also a sin. We learned about hatred too. So why do a lot of us remain adamant? Why are we neglecting the right way to live? Yesterday, I watched a video on Facebook. A man took his girlfriend to the bar. He stood up to go to the toilet and before he came back, the so-called girlfriend already poisoned his drink. The people who caught her asked her to taste the drink but she refused. Things are going very crazy. Why will a human being be so happy to kill another? It is very sad. Still the same yesterday, a friend posted something on his Whatsapp story. He got stabbed by his best friend for no reason. I'm sure there is a reason and the reason maybe because the other guy is doing well in life than the friend and maybe the friend feels like the best way to stop that is by killing his friend. Why will someone even think in that direction? I've seen cases where girls poison their friend because the lady got more birthday gifts than them. Is that a relevant reason for killing somebody? The saddest part of it is that a lot of people do not care about the lives of others.
I'm not a Christian but I believe so much in the ten commandments. I can't remember how it was stated in the Bible but I will try. God said, " love your neighbor as yourself ". The neighbor written here does not mean the person living next to you. Any human being can be your neighbor. As long as someone is a human being like you, learn to always care for them. Don't care for human beings alone. You can care for flowers, animals, and a lot more. God created us with love and that is why a baby (tabula rasa) is always filled with love and happiness because he or she has not experienced the hatred of life. Another crazy thing is that the moment a lady gets pregnant, some people are already jealous of the baby, and the baby automatically has some enemies. It's crazy but it is the truth.
One thing we should know is that we all came into the world with nothing and we will leave with nothing. All these races of making it big in life will end someday.

What You Believe In Works For You.
Good day everyone. It's quite sad that I have been so busy these days and I have not been engaging very well like I used to. I have missed a lot of wonderful poems and articles that I read here every day. However, I still try to read as few as seven articles in a day even if I don't post every day. If you have been following or reading my articles lately you would realize that I have been traveling from one place to another for about two weeks. I had the most stressful traveling experience yesterday because I left Lagos very late at night and I had to enter Ibadan at midnight. I don't like to go out at midnight but I have something very important to do in Ibadan very early in the morning so I just had to travel down back to Ibadan.
Our gatekeeper already locked the gate when I got home so I had to bang the gate very loud before it could open the gate for me. Also, it is not very safe here at night because that is the time that thieves rob or go about the streets looking for people to rob. When I got home, I could not sleep so I had to go to my housemate's place to gist with her if I'll be able to sleep. Then we began to talk about different things and she complained that she did not like the way I left Lagos very late because it is not safe. Honestly, nowhere in Nigeria is safe at the moment and it is majorly because of the upcoming election that we are going to be having next year. Whenever the election period is approaching fast in Nigeria, different things tend to happen and that is why the citizens are always trying as much as possible to be safe.
When she complained that she did not like the time I got home yesterday, I explained some things to her. I first explained to her that I have something very important to do in Ibadan today and I told her something else which I am going to be talking about or emphasizing today. I know I left Lagos very late at night but at the same time, I believed that I will get to Ibadan no matter what happens and I also believe that I'll get home very safely. I have done those countless times and it works for me. I'm just a girl who believes that if you say whatever you want and you believe so much in it, it will surely happen. That has always been my principle and it has worked for me so many times. So, we had to talk about different issues about trusting what you believe in. I am sure that we all have one thing or the other that we believe in and that works well for us.
I am that person who believes that if you want something to happen, you can say it out and write it somewhere. I'm also a very determined person, I was determined to get to Ibadan safely last night and it happened. Even if I don't have money and I need to do something important, I don't cancel it because I'm very sure that I will have funds to take care of or cater to whatever I want to do. It works for me like magic and sometimes, my friends think I'm fetish. Who do I believe in? I believe in God! I talk to him like I'm seeing his face. After talking to him, I trust him. Most of you may be surprised or complaining that your prayers don't get answered. Why do you think that happens? It is because you have failed to trust God after telling him what you want from him. You just have to trust God. That's the best way to live. Since I already told God that I'm traveling, I believe that he will destroy every evil arrow coming my way and he did so. I'm healthy. God is indeed everything.
God is all I believe in!

They Are Going Wild!
Hi guys. I should have published this article since but my phone went off. I traveled from Ibadan to Lagos and faced the traffic as usual. I spent about six hours from Ibadan to Lagos. There's a bad road that they are trying to repair. That is why the traffic is very hectic. I hope it stops as soon as they are done with the road. Can the traffic ever stop? Haha. I don't think so. Entering Lagos state is always stressful. It is overpopulated. Some people are coming in while some are leaving. Also, some drivers are desperate to get home fast. This is why accidents happen on the road and it will cause traffic. Once there is traffic, we won't get home on time. I'm the type who loves to press the phone while traveling. I love to gist with my friends. Firstly, I messaged my best friend. We got talking and I told her that I would be sleeping at a friend's place. God knows, he's just a friend. She advised me to wear cloth that covers almost every part of my body. Haha😅. It may sound funny but since it's a guy, I shouldn't wear something seductive.
Then, I got talking to another friend of mine. We were talking about the same topic. She told me about how guys have treated her whenever she goes to greet them. She's not sleeping over. She just went to say hi for about two hours and she will go back home. She revealed that some of these guys tried to rape her, and some of them tried to seduce her too. It's very crazy!!! This reminded me of how guys have treated me too. A guy once tried to rape me too. Let me explain. I'm that girl who is free with people. Once you ask me to come over, I believe that I'm just coming to spend quality time with you. When I say quality time, I'm not talking about kisses and caresses. I mean, we can play games, gist, watch football, watch movies, and all but I guess this generation is taking it too far. As of now, in present Nigeria, it is rare for you to see a guy who will invite you over to his house without having anything sexual in mind. It is very rare and I'm not happy about it.
There are so many guys that I like as my friend but I'm scared to go to their houses because I would not like to have an awful experience. The craziest thing about this generation is that before you go to the guy's house, he might have told you what you are coming to do, and some gullible ladies will accept the offer. This is one reason why these guys believe that every lady out there is cheap which is not so. The craziest part of it is a guy trying to rape you. Why? Why will a guy do that? If you want sex, ask the lady. Let it be mutual. Learn not to force things on people. Another thing about rape is that the guy will never enjoy it because it is not mutual. If it is a mutual feeling, everything will flow. Sex should be mutual and not forced.
Also, some guys are so mad. Once you refuse to do what they want, they may send you out of their house. It may be at midnight. I've seen cases like that. It's not fair. Some guys treat women very badly as if they don't have mothers or sisters too. Some guys even believe that since they bought something for you, you should be able to spread your legs for them. Isn't it crazy? It's not their fault. It is the fault of the bad ladies disgracing the good ones. One thing I have noticed is that no matter how we try to correct this, some people will continue it.
Presently, I'm sleeping at a guy's place because that's the last option. It's not even my wish to sleep there and I'm glad that he's not trying anything funny. If I had other places to stay, I won't come here. I'm scared of these guys. They are going wild!!!!

Tife's Love Story.
Tife is a twenty-three-year-old lady who hardly does things without her mum. Her mum is over protective and this made her lack experiences with other people. Tife cannot do anything without her mum. If she wants to register for something, her mum needs to be with her. She has no experience with outsiders because she's that mummy's girl. She's also bad at cooking. In a nutshell, she's over-pampered by her mum. At the age of twenty-three, it's normal for a lady to have a boyfriend. Her boyfriend complains a lot about her cooking ability. So, whenever she's going to see him, her mum helps her to cook so she will pretend to her boyfriend she made the food. It continued like that for a few months.
Unfortunately, Tife lost her mum. Imagine losing your mum when you can't do anything without her. Her boyfriend couldn't cope with her attitude because it became obvious that it was her mum who was covering up for her. At some point, the guy began to beat and maltreat her. For me, if you truly love someone, no matter what happens, you will help the person to learn. You'll stand by the person when she needs you. The guy maltreated her and told her that he does not want to have anything to do with her.
Tife cried for some days and decided to move on. After then, she met other guys who treated her less than human. It was getting too much. She decided to learn how to cook, personal hygiene, and almost everything a woman needs to possess. Since she believes that is what was making her boyfriend detest her, she learnt them. She took a break from the relationship again. After a few months, she met another guy. This guy was so perfect. He's every woman's dream. Since they were deeply in love with each other, they decided to get married. Fortunately, she got pregnant before the marriage. She got married in July and gave birth in October. After three weeks of childbirth, she lost her husband.
She was devastated. Imagine losing someone who does almost everything for you. Someone who came like your mum in form of a man. It's sad!!! At some point, she told her friends about it, and they believed it wasn't natural. They gave her two options. They said it's either because she finds it hard to do things without her mum or it is a spiritual problem.She took to the pastor's place and it was revealed that she has a spiritual husband. It was explained to her that if someone has a spiritual husband, the person wouldn't have a stable relationship. The person is likely to have so many failed relationships. She prayed and fasted for days. Imagine a new mother fasting coupled with breastfeeding a child. It isn't easy, right? She prayed and fasted for seven days. On the last day of the prayer, the pastor prayed for her and God answered her prayer. After a few weeks, the ex-boyfriend who used to beat her came back begging.
He pleaded that he didn't know what he was doing. She chased him away because she vowed not to ever accept a man who beats her. She told her pastor about it and he prayed for her. The pastor said she can go on with the relationship. The reason the guy used to beat her was because of the hatred the spiritual husband caused from guys toward her. The boyfriend also pledged to cater to all the baby's responsibilities.
At the end of the day, they became happily married.
The Movie Set.
I dislike it when I've not been online for days. It makes me feel absent everywhere. It makes me feel like I'm not in the world during that particular period of my being offline. I wrote an article here, two days ago about why I was absent for two days. Also, I went through a lot during the travel so it is making me look sick. I got back to Ibadan yesterday. Immediately I entered the city, I checked my Whatsapp. It was already working fine. In the text, we students of the Film Academy that I attend were asked to come to the studio. They are shooting a movie in the studio and they need more cast so we were asked to come. There are popular actors on the movie set. I thought of going but I was too tired to go. I was about to come down from the cab so I will go to the studio but I was so tired. Instead of going to the studio, I headed home.
I called my hairstylist to know if she was in her shop. She was there and I went to her shop so that I will make my hair. I got to her shop and we started the hair at 12:25 pm. I was thinking that the hair will be very fast but it was not. The hair took the whole of my day. I finished the hair by 7:28 pm yesterday. She was supposed to dress the hair and make it look good but I was so tired and I promised to go back to her this morning. I woke up late this morning. Instead of me to go meet my hairstylist, I went to school. I'm having a class very early this morning. If I decide to go to my hairstylist's place, I will go to school late so I just went to school straight. Unfortunately, when I got to school, the lecturer had already left. He was angry because he didn't meet anyone of us. We all got to school late. I know go he feels and that's why I won't blame him.
Then, my friend shared what happened in the studio with me. She was cast for a role because she has the physique of the person they need for that role. It's her first time on the movie set. I'm sure we all know how it feels to do something for the first time. You will feel nervous especially when you have people there and you are the cynosure of the place. There's one thing about acting. Whenever you're acting, you're the one people are looking at. They don't want to see other people or other things, you are their main focus. Upcoming actors feel so concerned about this and that is why a lot of them feel nervous while acting. If you watch movies a lot, you will realize that a lot of upcoming actors act with fear. This is also because they are scared of the director and the popular celebrity they are acting with.
Then she told me that a popular female actor shouted at her yesterday. She said she felt embarrassed that the woman shouted at her. Other people also testified to it that the woman said awful things to her. It's not nice. We all started somewhere. If I become a celebrity one day and I am on set with an upcoming actor, if he or she doesn't act well, I'll teach her. I will advise her to put herself in the character instead of shouting at her. There's one thing I dislike. I dislike it when someone is shouting at me. Why can't you teach me instead of shouting at me? Honestly, it is not nice. I've met a lot of actors who have this nasty behavior. Another thing that makes me sad is that these celebrities portray themselves as good people on screen but when it comes to real life, they are wicked people. Some of them are so saucy and it will discourage the upcoming actors. It's not nice!!!
No matter what position you are in life if you see someone aspiring to be in the position you are, learn to encourage them. Remember that you were once like them. Help them to learn.

Just Be Grateful.
In life, we gotta be grateful to God. We gotta be grateful for life. When there is life, there is hope. We should always have that in our minds. Do not let anyone define your life for you. Do not let anyone tell you that it is not possible to achieve your dreams. As long as you'll are alive, there is nothing impossible. Just keep grinding and keep believing in Jehovah. There are times when things we don't want to happen. It is normal to feel sad. Some people even lose their loved ones. Many things happen to people but some of us don't know. There are times when things worse than death happen to some people and that is why you see a lot of people commit suicide. As for me, I believe that there is nothing higher than death. As long as you are alive, there is hope for you. Some people say that a mortuary is a rich place because that is where you find a lot of unfulfilled dreams. Are you alive? If yes, say thank you to God.
If you think the worst things have happened to you, I'll share some stories and compare them to each other. A few days ago, I won't about a Nigerian singer who lost his son. The child just celebrated his third birthday and he gave up after eleven days. I was so sad and angry. I thought about it for over three days. This is because the child died of drowning. I was very angry because he was left with his nanny and chef so they could look after him but they didn't. It is so sad. T is very sad to leave your child with the people you trust and they won't be able to look after your child. It's not nice. Though they have been arrested and I guess they may face the wrath of the law. If they don't, it means God is so merciful to let the deceased family forgive. There are many cases like that. Let's go to the second story.
When I went to my former institution on Friday, I heard the sad news. I heard that our registrar lost her son. When I listened fully to the story, I realized that was the only child the woman gave birth to. The guy is twenty-seven years old and my registrar is fifty-one years old. Now, she has gotten to her menopause stage and she can't give birth to a child again. It is so sad to be in a world left with no child. Sooner or later, her husband may be with another wife. It may happen because it happens very well in my part of the world. Now, compare both stories and guess who should be more thankful. It is a young couple of course. At least, there is the hope of giving birth to another child but when it comes to my registrar, there's no hope. Also, there's hope because God is never short of miracles. He's a miraculous God.
Let me share another one I met a guy through my ex-boyfriend. That guy did his engagement early this year and got married in July. He gave birth on September 20 and I congratulate him on his new child. It's a beautiful thing to have a child. After three weeks, the guy died. What is the most painful part of this story? The painful part is that the poor child wouldn't recognize his father. He would never experience his father's love for him. It hurts. Another painful part of the story is that the young lady won't enjoy her married life. It's painful. She has to start all over again coupled with training a child alone. It's not easy. It's not easy being a single mother.
So, what has happened to you? I'm sure we all have pathetic stories but we should learn to be grateful. When you hear things that have happened to other people, you will be grateful to God. In everything that happens to you, learn to be grateful. If you haven't said Thank You to God today, please do so🙏🙏

Hello beautiful people. I am so sad and sorry for not visiting or upvoting some articles for two days. What happened? I traveled from Ibadan to Lagos. I think you may find it funny how the traveling affected my engagement on the platform. Right? Firstly I woke up very early on Friday so that I will get to Lagos on time but it did not work. The traveling would not have affected my engagement here if my battery was not flat. It may be very stressful and annoying to travel with a flat batter and when you get to where you're going, there may still be no light for you to charge your phone. I wrote something about traffic a few days ago and it happened to me on my way traveling back to Lagos. Traffic in Nigeria can be so hectic especially when you live in Lagos. The journey from Ibadan to Lagos should not be more than 1 hour and 30 minutes but in the traffic, I spent up to six hours on the road.
The traffic starts the moment you want to enter Lagos State. From Ibadan, I faced no traffic. It was a smooth journey all through but the moment you're about to enter Lagos just have it in your mind that you are going to face hectic traffic just because you want to enter Lagos. Also, the traffic is hectic because they are repairing a road on the express so the road for drivers to pass is very narrow. When I got to Lagos I had to visit some of my friends before going home. I left there around 5:00 p.m. and I regretted my actions because I got home very late. This is for you to know how crazy Lagos traffic is. My journey from my friend's place to my house should not be more than 1 hour 30 minutes but I spend up to 5 hours because of the traffic. At some point, I was very angry likewise the people on the bus. And I already told you in my previous article that once the traffic is too hectic a lot of people tend to get angry.
The driver of the bus I boarded had a lot of fights with people from other buses because everyone is trying to maneuver the wrong way because he wants to get home very fast and this is one of the major reasons why we always have hectic traffic in Lagos. In Lagos, everyone is always rushing to go home. There are times that people pass where they are not supposed to pass another end of the day it brings up traffic that cannot even be corrected within 30 minutes and that is why we have some traffic that cars would not even move at all. I have been in this kind of traffic for 2 hours. The boss did not move at all and it was getting late I could not come down off the bus. I had to wait till the buses start to move. By the time I got home, I was very tired and I could not do anything. I only had tea, took my bath, and slept like a baby. I did not eat anything reasonable on that day. I only had Pepsi when the traffic was hectic. On that Friday morning, a friend called me to help her with a bank transfer but I could not and I promised her I was going to do it immediately after I got home. I am very sure that she would have been trying my number and it will not be reachable she may feel like I did it on purpose or I switched off my phone because she asked me for money not knowing that I went through a lot.
That's about Friday. So what happened yesterday? Sometimes the internet connection may be very crazy. Would you believe that I was on my data from morning till night and my messages were not popping in? I did not have access to the internet and it was as if I was out of the world because there is life without data seems like you're living in the dark. At some point, I became very worried and I had to check my data balance now and then to see if I have data. When I checked, I realized that I have enough data and I was not connected to the internet. It hurts. I'm just the kind of person who gets easily tired of something. I was so hungry and frustrated throughout yesterday so I had to drop my phone and did not touch it till today.
I am so happy to be back.

Do You Think You've Experienced Traffic? Come To Lagos!!!
I woke up very early today and we didn't do anything other than press my phone. I think a lot of us do this. Instead of waking up and doing some house chores, the first thing a lot of us do is press our phones. Our parents may see it as something which is not normal but it seems very normal to us because we are used to it. I was about to get set for work when my sister reminded me that today is her passing out parade. They are collecting their certificates of being a corper. Corpers are graduates who serve the country immediately the finish University. It is an adventure to prepare them for the labour market.
So I followed my sister and her friends to the venue. I also met my brother there. I congratulated him and his best friend. His best friend is also like my older brother. I treat him like my brother too. I entered my brother's car to listen to some songs. He left the car to collect his certificates too. When he collected it, my sis collected hers too. We took pictures. We also took pictures with my sister's boyfriend, my brother's friend, my sister's friend, and some of them too. Taking so many pictures may be very tiring so we were tired and we decided to go home. My brother is a very rough driver. I don't like it when he drives because his driving skills scare me. When we got to a particular place, there was traffic then, the man beside our car was telling us to move forward but there was no space. The man kept on shouting and repeating it. How does he want us to move forward when there is a car in front of us? Does he want us to hit the car?
At some point, I became very angry and I had to tell him that he was mad. Honestly, some people are frustrated. He said that to me too😅. We began to exchange words and I was even thinking that he will come outside his car to beat me😅. Honestly, I was scared but I was still insulting him. My brother is such a gentleman. He asked me to leave him the man alone. When we moved forward a bit, we saw two other people fighting. A man came outside his car and slapped another man driving his car too. The other man brought out a cane and they began to beat each other😅. I wish I took the picture but my mind was not there. The fight was too interesting to bring out my phone and start taking pictures. I'm very sorry.
It may sound awkward to you because I'm laughing but Nigerians are crazy people😅. Whenever you're driving, if you can't be harsh and mad at the steering, you won't get home on time. I learnt something when I was learning how to drive. I learnt that you must be very bold and have some madness in your head in case some people try to tackle you😅. I remember some years back, my mum was driving and a man was pressing his car horn from the back. My mum got so angry and she went down to meet the other man. Guess what my mum did? She told the man to fly his car over ours😅😅. Funny right? When there is traffic, everyone is always rushing to go home.
That's when a lot of people become frustrated and begin to insult each other. You know how frustrating it can be if you've been in traffic for about four hours. There was a time I was going to give my ex-boyfriend his birthday cake. I left home in the afternoon and got to his place at night. Normally, it was not supposed to pass one hour, thirty minutes journey but the traffic was mad and I began to cry inside the bus. Traffic is one of the reasons Nigerians become frustrated.

A Very Big Mistake.
Good day everyone. I am sorry for not being active here for a while now. I have been so busy since last week but I am glad that I am done with what I am doing so I have enough time to spend with you all. I have learned a lot in life. I learned that whenever I am very happy I should not make temporary decisions likewise when I'm sad too. I have also done some crazy things but I am glad that it hasn't gotten worse. I want to share the story of my cousin. But before doing so, I will share what I did some time ago and I am glad that it did not affect me very much. I used to love a guy and I go to see him in a state very far from mine. It is more than nine hours journey. I love them so much and I prayed to marry him because he loved me too. I won't lie, we had s*x. A lot that I can't count. I had it in mind to keep any pregnancy that I have for him but I am glad that I didn't get pregnant for him. At some point, I got tired of him and I broke up with him. Honestly, he didn't stop loving me even now and we still talk sometimes whenever we just want to say hi to each other. If I had gotten pregnant for him I would have been a single mother by now because I stopped loving him.
Now let me share with you the story of my cousin. A few years back, my cousin was madly in love with a guy. I'm happy that she was in love and she posted him all the time even if I am not very cool with her posting up her relationship issues. During the pandemic, she realized that she was pregnant. I expected her to feel bad about the pregnancy because it will mess up a lot of things like education and all and it'll be hard for her to pick up again. But to my surprise, she was very cool with the pregnancy without thinking of all the things that she had in front of her. Her parents felt bad and I remember when I called my dad on phone and he was crying. The man felt very bad but my cousin didn't even feel bad about what is happening. The so-called boyfriend and his family came to my cousin's house to plead with her parents so that they won't get angry. When she gave birth, things were still going fine with her and her boyfriend and also the family of both parties. I was not wishing her bad but I knew that it was likely for her and her boyfriend to split up after some years because she was still very little at that time and I am sure she has not had experience with other relationships. She was eighteen by then. Can you see how little she was? At times we don't understand what we call love. A lot of us cannot handle and endurance is part of a relationship. So, people that cannot endure should not try to be in a relationship or expect themselves to last long with their partners. It is not only endurance, other factors affect relationships too.
I spoke with her a few days ago and I realized that she broke up with her boyfriend some months ago. She showed me screenshots of the chat between her and her boyfriend and he was talking as if he has always hated her. The guy's sister told my cousin that she hated her. I saw the chat. I was sad. I was very sad because my cousin didn't listen to me or her parents when they were advising her to be careful of that guy. Now the guy and his family left my cousin and their family to take care of the child alone. Who does that? Even now, my cousin has still not learnt from her mistakes. She said she will hustle hard to train her child and I know clearly that her father is the one feeding her presently because she has no job and she's not done with her education. She was saying it as if hustling for money is easy. I hope by the time a father tells her that he would not train the child again maybe she will understand what I have been telling her.
I know we have a lot of single mothers here and I've read about different experiences here too. You all made us realize how difficult life may be for single mothers especially the ones without a job. Kudos to you all. I know my cousin made a mistake but I pray that the Lord strengthens her to be able to take care of the child.
A New Month.
Hi, my people. A happy new month to us all. I wish us the things that we wish ourselves. I'm sure that you wish yourself the best of things. Am I right? I wouldn't have loved to share this but I will share it. It's an article. Leggo!!! Two sad things happened last night and this morning. Last night, we heard the news that a little boy drowned in the pool and he gave up. The child is one of the top Nigerian Artiste's children. He's the son of Davido. Last night, I logged into my Twitter account and I saw the trending lists. I saw that Davido was trending. I didn't even bother to check it because I'm not a fanatic of Davido. I went to my Whatsapp to check on some of my friends then I saw people's statuses. I heard that Davido's son is late. How come? What could have happened? A three year old child?
It was said that the boy allegedly drowned in the swimming pool. I learnt that his father and mother were not at home at the moment. He was left with his Nanny and some other house help. Why will you be a Nanny when you know that you can't take care of a child. People can be so insensitive. The house is so big. How will a child leave inside the house and go outside to the poolside without anyone checking on him or knowing his whereabouts. Then, why are you a Nanny? It is sad!!! We also learnt that the child spent three hours in the pool before they discovered where he was. They rushed him to the hospital but he already gave up before they got to the hospital. The doctors tried to revive his life but all their efforts were futile.

What Should She Do?
A friend is in a dilemma right now and I want you to please say something about this. It is a very serious issue that is making me furious. If it were to be me, I won't be in any form of dilemma because I know how to let go of things very fast. It may not be easy but I will make sure that I derive joy from somewhere else so that I will be able to do what I'm supposed to do. No matter what happens and no matter how much I love you, I can say goodbye to you at any time. I respect myself a lot. Once someone tells me that he doesn't want me again, I'll shift. Also, there are times when they won't tell you that they don't want you again. You can tell from their reactions. Action speaks louder than words. The moment when a man or a woman starts to act like you're not wanted around him or her, just shift. It means that you are not wanted. I've learned this since I was very little and it has helped me a lot.
So what happened in my friend's relationship? She has a boyfriend and they have been dating for over three years. The guy has a female best friend. You know how close best friends could be. I once had a male best friend too but I had to move away from him the moment he had a serious relationship. Inviting friends into your relationship is just like you trying to invite the whole world to know what is happening in your relationship. Now, the guy and his best friend are still close to the point that they have no regard for my friend who is the girlfriend. There's nothing that happens in the relationship that the guy won't tell the best friend. It's so annoying. There was a time that the guy had an accommodation issue. Instead of living with his girlfriend, he chose to live with his best friend.
Does that make sense? How do they want the girlfriend to feel? I've stopped complaining about the guy because whenever I ask my friend to leave the guy, she will feel reluctant to do so. What happened two days ago baffled me and that's why I'm writing the article. The female best friend came to the girlfriend's house. She came to make her hair around that area. Since I was less busy, I had to follow her because the girlfriend had already gone to her guy's place. She already planned to sleep at the guy's place so that the other lady will feel convenient if she wants to sleep over at our place. Suddenly, the friend said she already called the guy and that she was sleeping over at his place. I expected my friend to do something crazy but she didn't. It's normal but because I was very angry.
My friend didn't say a word and she let her go to her boyfriend's place. My friend had to help her with a money transfer at the salon. Yesterday, we called the lady to send back the money and she said that the guy will help her send it. My friend had to call her boyfriend to confirm if it is true. The guy admitted that he will send the money. That's about $10 and my friend previously asked the guy for money to make her hair and he said he will help her with $5. It means that the guy is choosing the other lady which he called his friend over my friend. I expected her to get angry for the whole day. After a few hours, the guy came to our place, and they continued their sweet love life. Does that make sense? She even had to cook for him. God knows that I was very angry.
How can one be so gullible? This lady is 25 years old and she's letting someone treat her less. Who does that? Her mother and other family members have advised her to leave this so-called guy but she's adamant. At times, you may not get beaten in a relationship but a lot of things there will make you depressed and it will affect your mental health. Whenever I advise her to leave, she will say all the Pastors and Imams she knows said that their future is bright together. Do those people even know what she's going through in the relationship?
I'm sad because she's stubborn. I had to call her cousin yesterday and explained to him. He said I should leave her because if you advise someone in a relationship, they wouldn't listen.
May We Not Disgrace Our Family.
May we not be the shame of our family. I pray we all don't become that person who always brings shame to his or her family. Have you ever seen people who bring shame to their families and make them worry so much? There are people like that. I pray we are not one of them and I pray our children don't take up that dirty act. How can someone be shame of his family? It depends. It may be theft, prostitution, hooliganism, and so on. Yesterday, my sister and I decided to go to the market to buy pepper. If we buy it on the street, it will be very small because we didn't buy it from the market. One thing about pepper in my area is that the market sellers sell it in bulk and it will be many but the street sellers buy it in the same market and when they sell, it will be very small.
Since it was still early in the morning, we chose to take a walk to the market. It's like 15mins journey while trekking but we chose to trek. It was around 6:30 am. There was no sun or anything that could make us tired. Whenever my sister and I are trekking to the market, there's a particular place we usually pass. I don't know why we didn't pass there yesterday. We decided to follow the normal route. While going, we overheard some noise but we were thinking that it might be the people on the street either playing or fighting. This area that we live in is very noisy. Sometimes when you hear noise, if you are not careful, you will think they are fighting not knowing that they are playing with themselves. That thing annoys me a lot.
Suddenly, we saw a crowd of people. When we were moving close to them, we saw cutlasses and sticks that they use to beat people with them. My sister and I were very scared because it looks like they were coming toward us. We had to pave way for them to pass. In their midst, we saw a guy that has been beaten blue-black. There's blood all over his body. They are busy dragging him. My sister and I waited in our customer's place for a few minutes. So, what did the guy do? He stole! He came to someone's shop at the midnight, burgled the shop, and carried the person's goods. It's sad, right? That's one of the trends that these thieves are following these days. A few weeks ago, my aunt's shop was also burgled and these people carried goods worth millions of naira. Let me go back to the guy that they were beating.
They off his clothes and allowed him to wear only his boxers. They asked him to lead them to the shop that he burgled at midnight. After knowing what happened, my sister and I continued our journey to the market. Then, I told my sister that the guy can lose his life before we get back to that place. While going back home, we passed the same place. That's the only route that we can pass. When we got to that place, we saw the police van. They already came to carry him. The people around there said that the guy is dead. I was making my sister if she remembered when I told her that the guy might give up before we get back. In the afternoon, we heard the full story. The guy only fainted but he didn't die. Presently, he is in police custody.
If his family members hear what happened to him, how would they feel? Why will some people just like to disgrace their families? He disgraced his family. The guy looks like an elderly person and I'm sure that he will have a wife and kids. Why did he disgrace them? It's sad. I'm sure that the man has been stealing since when he was small. Apart from training our kids well, let's pray for our children not to disgrace the family. Let's help them to always think in the right way even though things are not going on well. Let's train our kids to have the fear of God in them.

Don't Be Too Desperate.
Hello beautiful people. How are you? I guess we all are doing great. Dear Filipinos, please protect yourself from the heavy rain that has failed to stop for some days now. Also, pray to God that the flood should stop. Some areas are already becoming flooded and it's making a lot of people worry. Make sure that you don't go out when it is raining. You can only go out when the rain has stopped. It's for your safety, please. Let's get to today's main topic. Don't be too desperate. Everyone wants something. We all are praying for one thing or the other. God is so good. Some people are making moves about it already. It's sweet to want something and also to make move about it. At least, it will assure you that you may get it. It's a different thing to wish for something. It is another different thing to work towards it. Working towards it will make you rest assured that it is very much likely for you to get what you've been praying for or what you have been willing to have.
I was in the church a few days ago. God revealed to someone that he will surely give him what he wants but he should not rush. This life deals with time. In Nigerian Pidgin English, people say "life nah time by time". It means that everything and everybody on earth has their time. There are times when someone will suddenly become rich. The general knowledge may be that the person was involved in some form of ritual. Yes, it may be simply because of the things that have been in the world. What if I tell you that the person may not involve himself in the ritual? It may just be God's blessing from above. It's his time and that's why he became suddenly rich. One thing about God is that if he comes for you or tells you that it is your time to make it big in life, everything will just work for you like magic. Would you believe that?
When you're desperate for something, it means you want the thing immediately or almost immediately. I understand how it feels. There are times that we have been provoked may be due to the happenings in this life and we may not want to wait for our time again. Talking about money rituals is too far. Let's talk about what I did a few weeks ago. I won't disclose it because I'm very shy about it 😊. Don't worry, it is not something really serious. A few weeks ago, I was getting along with something. I've been on it for over four months and it has been going on well but I wanted something to come out of it. I became very desperate about it. Instead of me calming down, I didn't. I tried to force things and I'm sad to tell you that I lost what I've been working for. I'm just trying to gain it back and that's if it will work. I know it will work by God's grace but I won't be desperate about it anymore.
I know we all have been in this kind of situation where we need something badly. Let me give you another instance. I was so desperate to get an apartment when I was at University. At the end of the day, I got the worst department because I could not chill to find a very good apartment for myself. I stayed there for four years and I didn't enjoy myself. It was too dirty. Also, some of us are very desperate when it comes to doing anything. Some of us don't even want to follow the right method. Some people are desperate to make money, enter relationships, have kids, and do other things that they could ever think of. I learned something about being desperate. It ruins everything you have been working for. When you're desperate to get something, it is likely for you to start it all over again because you may lose the ones that you've worked for.
Don't worry, dear friends. Your time to shine will come. When you're not desperate for it, it will last forever🤞.
Don't Be A Bitter Person.
Have you ever met a bitter person? I mean, have you met a sadist? Do you know how they behave or how they do their things? I've met one and I must confess that it sucks. Let me start the story from the beginning. I relocated to the present place that I stay in June. I relocated there because of my Film Academy. When I got to my sister's place, I met a tailoring material and I'm sure that it was not for my sister. She's not a fashion designer. I asked who owns it and I was told that it was for another housemate but the housemate was not around at the moment.
After two weeks, the fashion designer came back. She greeted me and welcomed me to the compound. Also, there's one other lady opposite my apartment. She also came to check on me to welcome me to the compound. The fashion designer and the other lady are close friends. One thing about friends is that they will always quarrel. After spending a few weeks, I realized that they quarrel almost all the time. My sister always tries to settle everything happening between them but it's not working. The last quarrel they had, they vowed not to talk to each other again.
What caused their quarrel? We don't know. It was not clear to us. I became close to the fashion designer because she comes to our place very well to watch movies whenever there is light. Now, this is where my problem started with her. Whenever she comes to our place, she always talks about the other lady. She will make sure that her voice is loud enough for the other lady to hear in her room. One thing about me and my sister is that no matter how much she tries to gain our love with that she won't be able to. I visit her room a lot of times too. Do you know when you see a red flag? My red flag in friendship is when we're friends and you're trying to sabotage someone else's image. I don't like it. I've done it when I was very little and I realized that it is very bad. Whenever I visit the fashion designer's room, she's always talking about the other lady. As a smart person, I will just try to change the topic but she's always trying to bring me back to that topic. It annoys me a lot. No matter what she says, I won't say a word because I don't want to be part of such.
She does it every time and my sister and I planned to stay away from her. People like that should be avoided. She had to tell us every secret between them. Just because they are not on good terms. It is very bad!!! We stayed away from her. Whenever the other lady comes to our room, we know we can't send her away. We just have to play with her since we're not having issues with her. The other lady doesn't even talk about the fashion designer. She's a different person. Most times, she shares her past experiences with us. This made us like her and talk to her all the time. Sometimes we all sit out at night and gist. The fashion designer begins to get annoyed because we are talking to the other lady. Who cares? The fact that she's not on good terms with the other lady does not mean we should not be too. It's none of our business.
I still go to her room to check on her and she reports my sister to me. She's so angry that we are friends with the other lady. I then stayed away completely from her because I can't be friends with someone who does not like my sister. Most times, she says bad things about my sister in the compound but I pretended that I'm not aware. This same lady knows the secret of everybody in the compound. She already told us about all the housemates when we were still close to her. She told us almost everything happening in their lives. Honestly, it is not supposed to be so. Whether we're on good terms or not, I will never betray you by telling other people what transpired between us or by telling people the experience we shared amongst ourselves just because I want to gain people's sympathy. Even at that, my sister still greets her and pretends like nothing is happening. The same goes for me. I'm just having pity for her new friends in the compound. The fashion designer is a sadist. If you have people like that in your lives, stay away from them!
Like Landlord, Like Agent.
I'm still very young but I've learnt a lot on earth. There are many things I've been told and there are many things I had to learn. I learnt these things when I was about to make decisions. Life is just like a school. In school, teachers don't teach you everything. This is why some teachers even ask students to read on a particular topic and still come to the class to present it. People won't teach you everything in life and that is why we need logic to navigate this life. We all should be grateful to God. Imagine we don't have a sense of reasoning, how would life be? I'm grateful for logic. I'm grateful for the sense of reasoning. I'm grateful for being able to think. I'm grateful to life for learning. At times, life may not be fair enough and that is why we gotta use our logical reasoning to solve some problems in life. Are you with me?
I stated earlier that life is the best teacher. I'm sure that we all have heard about this "As you lay your bed, so you lie on it". Please, permit me to write it in another way. " The way you treat your thing is the way people will treat it". It's just like you have a company, if you have a nonchalant attitude toward the growth of the company, your workers will also have that same attitude toward the growth of the company. It is automatic!! You can't change it. Have you seen a guy who disrespects his girlfriend? If yes, you will realize that his friends also disrespect the lady because of how the owner(her boyfriend) treats her. I hope you understand me. I want to call your attention to something. A very deadly thing has been happening in my compound for days. Presently, we all are living in fear.
We have been having electric shocks in every part of the house. Even the main gate shocks too. I've never seen that before. The most amazing part of it is the water. The running water shocks, the wall shocks, it's affecting our fridges already and it is endangering our lives. We are now wearing rubber slippers in every part of the house so that we won't get shocked. I heard that an electric shock starts from the leg. Dear scientists, please prove me wrong or right. We called the agent and it took them over four days to come and check it. Four days!!! What if someone had died. There's a guy who mistakenly put on the shower and the water shocked all over his body. The agent brought an electrician and the man did it. It stopped shocking for the rest of that day and it continues again. We were so angry at the agent's reaction to this.
We had to look for how to reach the landlord. We all went to speak with him outside. He first asked how we got his digits but we didn't reveal it. We have a group chat and we begged him if he can be part of the group chat so that he will see everything going on in the house. He declined. We all were dumbfounded. We complained to him about the shock and he showed that he was less concerned. We were very angry. We also complained about the increment in house rent. The only thing he said was "anyone who cannot pay, should leave". It got me annoyed. We all realized that we were just wasting our time talking to the man. We had to cut the call and we all were staring at each other. Electric shock is so deadly. Even if the man does not care about our lives, doesn't he care about the house? Is he not thinking if his house could get burnt? Such a stupid man!
Anyway, the agent called us that the electrician will come today. I hope the landlord changes his attitude before it is too late. This is how he's laying his bed and he will surely lie on it.

How Is Your Day Going?
I was supposed to write an article here three hours ago but I couldn't. I was feeling sleepy and if I decide not to sleep, I will have a headache. I think it doesn't happen to everyone. There are some people who deprive themselves of sleep and nothing will happen to them. It depends on your nature. Let me share with you what happened today before I come back to the sleep story. Last night, I was called by my school accountant. I was asked if I will be free today. She got a job for me and I was very happy. I was asked to be there today and I was feeling reluctant to stand up from my bed. I took a sleep again. One thing about me is that whenever I'm going somewhere, I always love to be there early but it didn't work for me this time around. I was so lazy that all I wanted to do was sleep. At a time, I summoned courage, stood up, prayed, and cleaned the house.
I was playing music alongside my house chores so that it will be fast. I love to listen to music a lot. I got a call from my friend, asking me to check Whatsapp that his messages are not delivering. I checked and it was true. I was not even sad because I have no one to talk to. Moreover, I'm always making noise on noise.app. I didn't even care about what happened to Whatsapp. I thought of what to eat. I checked my noodles carton and realized I had no noodles anymore. It was devastating but I'm glad that my sister's boyfriend will get it today. I finished all of those, wore my cloth and ate my food. I had to wait for the food to digest before stepping out. When I got to the location, the owner of the job was not available. I was sad because I wasted transport fare. While we were leaving, the cameraman gave us money to cover our transport fare. I was happy and also bought something out of it.
Presently, I'm watching wrestling inside and eating again. I'm a foodie😅. Who loves wrestling here? A lot of my friends always try to convince me that the fights are being acted. I don't believe and I will never believe that. That's all I've done today. The time is 2:18 pm in Nigeria. I'm having a good day and I hope you have a good day too. Oh, I forgot to tell you about the story I read today. Honestly, marriage or relationship is not for the weak. Some people are going through hell in their relationships. My hands are aching at the moment. I will tell you about the story in my next article. Watch out for the story.

Know Your Strength.
Hello family. How is your day going? How did you spend your Sunday? As for me, I slept throughout the day and woke up when there was light. I turn on the television to watch some movies. Later, I took a stroll on my street when I was very bored. The boredom was too much for me to handle. I took to the street to feed my eyes and see if I will meet new friends but I didn't. Let's get back to the movie part. I watched a movie yesterday. It was a very interesting movie. Do you think I'll share with you what happened in the movie? No, I won't. I noticed something in the movie and that is what I'm talking about today. In that movie, there's a very popular actor who has been featured in a lot of movies. Everyone has his or her voice. I'm sure you know that. That's why we always recognize people's voices even without seeing their faces. I realize that this man has lost his voice. I checked his other movies on YouTube. I realized that is how he has been talking for a while. That's surprising. His voice was sweeter before but now, it doesn't sound well. He does not sound like his old self. At some point, I got tired of the movie because I could not hear what he was saying. I lost the vibe of watching the movie. He acted well but I was not cool with the voice. It ruined my day somehow because I did not like the voice I was hearing. I had to change it to another channel.
This made me remember a topic in our music class. I'm sure that those who have been reading my articles will know that I attend a Film Academy. We have different courses and one of them is the musical course. We were taught something about tonal integrity. What is tonal integrity? It is the way we pronounce some words. For example, the way an English person will speak English will be different from the way a Nigerian or Filipino will speak English. The way you pronounce your words is known as tonal integrity. Also, we were taught ways of taking care of our voices. We should not drink things that are too cold or too hot. We should not take too many oily things. We should prevent ourselves from shouting too much. It affects the voice. Also, we should avoid talking too much. Why all of these? The strength of an actor lies in his voice. As an actor, we should be able to hear what you are saying properly. Also, your voice should be very pleasant to the ear so that your fans will like the way you talk. I got to realize that the way you talk matters a lot. This is why we were taught the way to take care of our voices so that we will sing well. As an actor, your voice is your strength.
I think I need to talk to everybody. We all need to know our strength in whatever we do. I mentioned earlier that an actor's strength lies in his voice. Let's talk about a model. I'm sure we all know what their strength lies in. It lies in the way they dress. It lies on their skin. This is my a model need to dress well and always take care of their skin all the time because they may get an appointment at any time and even the way they look will fetch them more jobs. Let's talk about people who cook. Their strength lies in their skills. If you bought food somewhere and the food does not taste nice, I'm very sure you won't go back there but it does not taste well but if it tastes nice, you would want to go back there. The strength of the person who cooked the food lies in his or her skill in cooking. This goes for every other job out there. You need to know your strength in the job that you do because that is what more jobs in the future. Your strength means a lot. Your strength will feed you.

He who does not have God does not have anything. Happy Sunday! I'm glad that we all have God and He has us too. A lot of us lack faith. Most people just go to Church or Mosque because if they don't go, their pastor will complain. Don't go to the house of God because you want to be seen. Go to church because you want to serve God. A lot of us pray and we are still going to be dicey about our prayers. We're not sure if God will do it. Who told you that? It depends on the level of trust you have in God. A lot of people will ask God for something and still go fetish about it. I have done it before and it made me believe in God more and more because I realized that there is nothing bigger than God on earth. There's no one he doesn't know, there's nothing he doesn't know, and there's no way we can successfully run away from God.
God loves us so much and I'm grateful that he is not like human beings. When last did you pray? When last did you give thanks to Jah? When last? If God was a human being, he would have killed a lot of us because we don't always have time for God. We don't always have time to pray. We don't always have time to give thanks to God. We're always rushing to work, we're always rushing to party, we're always rushing to do everything but God will still keep us have and hearty. Imagine that you're in a very high position and people don't check on you every day, they only check on you when they need you, do you think you will be able to give them what they want? I see a lot of people write about rooting for who roots for them. Do you even root for God? Do you always remember God in all your activities? God is so wonderful. He loves us and will continue to love us. He will continue to protect us.
If you need something and you tell God, just believe that it will happen. I've been wanting a particular thing for over ten years but it's far away from me. God keeps on assuring me by showing me my dreams. It will surely come and I know it's because I trust him. And if you ask God for something and he doesn't do it, just believe that a better one will come. You don't have any reason to nag at God. I know the God that I serve and he knows me too. God blesses people who know him and people who come to him!! Do you have any problem? Go to God!!! He's the way. He's the solution. The best thing that can ever happen to you is believing in God. It's a beautiful thing. Your mind will be at rest. Serve him today. It's never too late. God loves you❤.

Have You Tried It?
Good day, my people. I thought of sharing yesterday's experience with you and I hope we all learn from it. Ooh, my bad!! I'm not talking to the people during the day here alone. I'm talking to everyone including people that are in the night. It is morning here. Don't mind me😊😊. Yesterday, my sister picked up the clothes in our laundry basket so she would wash them. I had no cloth in the basket since I've not been going out. It's my holiday period and I'm taking my time to rest. I love to go out a lot but I don't want to waste my energy so I have been sleeping at home. Luckily, I got a message that school resumes on Monday. I was very happy. I remember when I was at University, I was always sad about resumption because University life is always stressful but I guess the major reason I love the Film Academy is that I'm doing what I love. When you do what you love, you won't have any reason to be sad about resumption.
Yesterday again, I cried. Honestly, I don't now why I was crying. I had too many reasons and I can't even specify why I was crying. I've got too much bills to sort and it got me very annoyed. I bought a soap worth $1.2 last week and it is almost finished. It's crazy!!! At the same time, I cried because I'm lonely. Normally, I don't talk to much people and the only person I talk to these days is drifting away slowly from me. It hurts right? Then I don't know why I thought of @Olasquare Dara (his daughter). My mind went to her. I thought of being a baby again. That pretty girl has no reason to be sad. No bills to pay, no boyfriend to make her cry, no work, and daddy and mummy will still buy biscuits for her. Can I just be a baby again? I don't want to think of how to make money, have a relationship, or anything. I just want sweets, biscuits, and Pepsi😭. The man provoked me last night like he has been doing for a few days now and I provoked him too😅. I'm sorry.
Whenever I'm bored, I love to listen to music but I was not in the mood to listen to any song yesterday. I don't know why that happened. At the same time, there was no light so I was not even motivated to on my phone speaker. Then, I sighted my sister's makeup box. I remembered that I do not know how to draw eyebrows. That's where it all started. I planned to draw the eyebrow only. I have never drawn a fine eyebrow in my life. It demotivated me and I stopped trying. I took the pencil and began to draw on my brow. It took me over forty-five minutes before I could finish drawing the eyebrow. I kept on cleaning and cleaning. At some point, I messed up the room😅. It was not funny😅. I became tired because no one sent me a message. While writing this, I'm laughing at myself because I never believed I could take makeup seriously.
When I finished drawing the eyebrow, I laughed. It was too small then I thought of complementing the brow with full makeup. I guessed it will not make it look obvious. So, I rubbed the foundation powder, eye shadow, bronzer, lip gloss, blush, and eyelashes. It looked good. It looked like very fine makeup. I changed to a singlet and did a snap. I posted it on my Whatsapp status and my friends told me that I tried. Before I cleaned the makeup, a housemate also entered our apartment and said the makeup looks beautiful and I know that too. I found a new hobby. I will try again after two days because I don't like to apply makeup on my face every day. I'm not a makeup fanatic.
Whenever people talk about makeup outside, I always say that I can't do it but it's because I have never sat my ass down to try applying it to my face. I realized that a lot of us tell people that we can't do something. Not because we can't do it but because we have not tried it. There's nothing you can't do. Some so many people are not talented in what they do but they learnt it and now doing well than those who are talented. You're saying you don't know how to do something. Have you tried it?

Writing Is A Beautiful Activity.
What do you think a writer is supposed to do? The writer is supposed to look for means to write something. If you are indeed a writer you should be able to jot anything down will in a couple of minutes. It is normal to face writer's block because it is not every time you will have something to write but at the same time, you should always write something every day. Being a writer is a very powerful thing that should not be disregarded. Writers are very intelligent people that can come up with any idea at any point in time. My lecturer once told me that he had an accident and he survived it without any injury then he came out of the car and picked up his book and started writing but when people saw him they called him a madman but they did not know the power of writing and the spirit and even the motivation. As writers, I am sure we all know that there are times that we will feel like writing and there are times that we won't be able to write anything. It is normal but at the end of the day, you must write something.
When I talk about writing something, it is not just to write anything or jot anything down but it is to write something reasonable. It is to be able to pass very reasonable information. Writers may be very playful at times but even while being playful in what they write, they will make sure that they put a smile on your face. They will make sure that they awaken a part of your body. Whenever you see a very beautiful and talented writer you would know from the first paragraph. There are thousands of writers out there that are not able to write something captivating as the first paragraph for people to want to read more. Have you ever experienced reading a book when the first paragraph or the first page was so captivating that you will want to keep reading it? The surprising thing about this is that the work may not be very good. The write-up may not be interesting but because of the way the writer has written it, it will awaken the spirit of the readers. Some writers are so talented that they will even start the suspense from the first page. Also, some writers will have a very interesting storyline or a very interesting topic to talk about but they cannot start the articles or the write-up in a very interesting way, and it won't be appealing to the readers. And sometimes the way we title our articles helps a lot. As for me, there are some times that I title it about what is happening in a way that if you see the title you will know what I'm talking about. Also, there are times that I title my articles in form of questions so that it will bring up suspense about what exactly I'm talking about.
Writing is a beautiful activity. Not everyone will be able to prove this fact. Also, a lot of us are good writers but we lack some writing rules or morals. I'm not excluded. Most times when we write, we're always in a haste to finish the article. This is why some articles are short and meaningless. If truly you love writing, no matter how short the article is, at the end of the day, we will be able to pick up something from what you have written. If I'm asked what I do for a living, I tell people I'm a writer. Sounds stupid to people but writers are needed in this life. Imagine that you're sad, you need quotes to make you happy. Isn't it the work of a writer? A lot of people out there buy love letters for their spouses. Who wrote it? Isn't it a writer? I wonder why some writers are shy about what they do. I can't count how many people I have told that I'm a writer. It's what I do and I'm proud of it!!!

Everyone Deserves To Be Respected.
Good day, beautiful people. I hope we all are doing great today. I woke up weak this morning because I had an electric shock in my house yesterday. The electric shock was a general issue. Also, this is the first time I'm seeing that water also gives an electric shock. I've never experienced it. I was very scared to sleep last night because of this. Even the walls of our buildings were so I had to shift my bed away from the wall so that if there is light, I won't have an electric shock from the wall. It sounds funny but that's just the truth. When I woke up this morning and all my phone data was not connecting. I think this is one of the saddest moments when you are trying to on your phone data and it's not connecting to any social media or whatever you want to use it for. I became very frustrated and I had to recharge my other network. I was pained because it was like I wasted money but at the same time, I will enjoy my data.
I put on my television to watch some movies. While watching the movie, a housemate came inside to complain about the electric shock again. We did not even notice because we have not done anything since morning. We checked the walls of our house and realized it was shocking again. We called the agent and he said he is going to come in a few hours now. I'm even scared right now because I do not know why the walls of a house will be shocking including the water. Weird? Have you ever experienced it? If yes, how was it? What do you think could have been the cause? Some housemates who went outside also complained that the main gate to the compound is shocking.
So, let's talk about the movie I watched. I watched a movie about a guy from a poor home. His parents struggled to send him to the university and made sure he graduated. They were in debt throughout their lifetime so they came up with an unfavorable idea. Their parents planned to fake the death of their father so that the people who he is owing some money won't ask them for money again but it became true and they lost their father. You know there are times that you imagine something later turns out to be true. That's exactly what happened. The guy searched for jobs everywhere but could not get any job then he decided to pick up his father's profession which was a cobbler. The first time he started he made money which is enough for them to feed for a day and he felt like he could continue the job.
Now, this is where I am going. Whenever the guy walks on the street and advertises what he does, some people disregard him by calling him all sorts of names. Some people talk to him like they can give birth to him. One thing I have taught myself is to always treat people with respect. Apart from the fact that no one knows tomorrow, treating people with respect makes them feel like human beings that they are. Have you ever experienced when someone insulted another person and you will realize that they said too much? At the end of the day, the guy became very rich. Even if he did not become rich he deserves some respect because he is a human being. Let's learn to talk to people politely, we must learn to treat people with respect because we deserve respect and one thing about life is that you get what you give. This means that if you respect people, you will automatically earn respect. Also if you disrespect people will disrespect you. Life is give and take. That is why we have karma and karma is real. And we all know how karma works that you get what you give.
Whether old, young, fat, slim, rich, poor, healthy, or unhealthy we all deserve to be respected.

Can I Always Overcome Procrastination?
I write on five different platforms and I hope you know what that means. It means I am supposed to work hard every day so that I will meet up with my articles. I don't like it when I skip a day or two of not writing articles. Even if I don't have the strength to do so I'll surely look for a way to write. Writing is now part of me and I cannot go a day without writing. Even if I'm lazy I would make sure I take some rest and then come back to write. I have read a lot of articles here that sometimes you will not have the strength to write but just want to put down something which means you have to write. The same thing is happening to me right now. Also, I cannot go a day without visiting some articles. It is going to make me feel like I just lost something. Wow, my book is getting full already😆😆. Honestly, I don't have anything to write today.
I think this thing depends on the mood. I was in the mood to write a few hours ago until I received a call from my friend. We talked for over an hour at some point I became very tired. Instead of coming back here to write, I went to sleep and I woke up a few minutes ago. Now I'm awake and I realized I have passed the time I am supposed to post the article. All I just want to do is rest because I am always resting at this hour of the day. This time of the day is so special to me and I use it for myself only. There are times that I would just listen to music or watch movies or sleep. But here I am writing an article. This is a result of procrastination. At some point, I wanted to start calling myself a lazy girl but I realize that I am not lazy. I am very hard-working and I write up to three articles a day. I will still visit a lot of articles in a day for you to know how hard-working I am. Honestly, I am enough to praise myself because I see that I am doing a lot of things that some people can not even do.
It is not easy to write three articles on different platforms and even engage on different platforms and I'll still go to work and come back for my house chores and still cook. The amazing thing about me is that I am always meeting up to all of these tasks every day. I'm so hardworking but procrastination dealt with me this morning. I began to think if I will always overcome procrastination. Most times, I always overcome procrastination but I don't know if that will always happen.
Can I always overcome procrastination?
