Baturraden Lokawisata is a tourist attraction located in the north of the city of Purwokerto right on the southern slope of Mount Slamet. Baturraden because of its location on the slopes of a mountain at an altitude of 750 - 900 m above sea level makes this area has a cool air and tends to be very cold, especially at night. Baturraden is also a tourist area visited by many local tourists, especially on Sundays and national holidays. This condition causes many hotels and villas to be established here.

In the Kaloka Widya Mandala Baturraden Park, there are various kinds of animals that come from within and from abroad such as from Australia, Asia and the Netherlands. The collection includes: Cows, Three-legged Goats, Elephants, Beruk (Buing), Irian Crocodiles, Pythons, Kaswari, Monkeys, Hedgehogs, Iguanas, Cendrawasih, Bats, Kate Chickens, Pearl Chickens, Orang Utans, Bondol Eagles, Deer.
