A Shade for a better future
Tarpaulins, colored banners,stickers and fliers are now posted and seen everywhere.And did you also repeatedly hear jingles of the candidates ?Or maybe you have already memorize it now so far.Campaigns for the 2022 national election can be seen in every corner of the country as the election date is now fast approaching.Have you already decided who to vote and who to support to ?
Suffrage, political franchise, or simply franchise, is the right to vote in public, political elections. In some languages, and occasionally in English, the right to vote is called active suffrage, as distinct from passive suffrage, which is the right to stand for election.
It is the right of every citizen in our country with legal age(18 years old and above) and is a resident of the country to vote.We have our right to decide and select the candidate we want to lead our country.But then,voting is not only just voting but it is a big descision to be done by every individual because who you vote will be the one who will lead us .As they say the future is in our hands .How can we know if we choose the right candidate for the position?Or how do we know the one to vote?
Every candidate has their different platforms which will also serve as a guide for us to choose.You should examine or study every platform that they lay during their campaign.Will this program ,platform or rule or law benefit everyone?You must not base your vote with the degree achieved by the running candidate hence look for someone who has the integrity and dignity to lead the people to be progressive.Do not vote for someone because he or she is famous or "sikat" in the society because fame cannot protect you.Choosing the right leader for the government is choosing for someone who can protect us from each other.And last but not the least that I can advice is to vote with conscience.You should not vote for someone because he secretly gave you an amount of money.Is that how much your integrity cost?Vote buying is illegal and prohibited to be done by the running candidates but still practice then.You can never deny that.
That is why when the election day will come we should all think before we shade.Once you have chosen you can never return time to change it.Vote for someone who can change the world to be better for us .There is no perfect human than Jesus.I know,all of us can make mistake.Politician can make mistakes too they are not perfect.If you think he or she can do the things you wished for our country than why regret to choose them.The change is in our hands,our future depend on our vote.To every ordinary people like me please vote wisely.
And to the future elected leaders,please ensure every fliers,tarpaulins and every campaign materials should be put in proper disposition,haha kidding aside.Please guide us to a better place.Do not waste our trust and vote .We choose you because we believe in what you can do .We believe in every platforms you lay during the campaign,for the right execution of every law you will make .Please ensure every youth to have the high and quality education.Because Doctor Jose P. Rizal ,our national hero once said "the youth is our hope".Food and livelihood will be given equally to the poor and to the rich so that no one will be left behind.Please make every Filipino citizen be also the reason why do you still want to wake up every morning.Keep on good track and carry us with you for the better tomorrow which you all promised.Make a change for everyone's lives.I know that becoming a leader is not an easy task or job but please shoulder us in every decision you will make.Do not let other country bully us because belong to one of poorest country.Let our territorry be ours ,do not let any race to steal it from us.
Let us together make a change and progress.
