Portable gas detector in the chemical plant applications

Portable gas detector is the security of staff, has been widely used in all walks of life. Where there is gas, toxic and harmful gases in the environment should choose gas detectors for testing to ensure safety. Particularly important is the detection of chemical workplaces or equipment inside the air of combustible or toxic gases and vapors content, an early warning of danger through the sound and light alarm and other means to achieve the effect of prompting.

Portable gas detector in the chemical plant, mainly used in the following situations:  

1. Overhaul testing: detection of residual harmful gases or liquids after equipment overhaul and replacement, especially before the fire detection is more important.   

2. Emergency detection: production site anomalies or handling accidents, in order to safety and health to detect harmful gases or liquids (vapors).   

3. Leak detection: equipment pipeline harmful gases or liquids on-site leak detection alarm, equipment pipeline operation leak detection.   

4. Roving detection: when safety and health inspection, to detect harmful gases or liquid vapors.   

5. Safety testing: When staff enter the hazardous material isolation operation room, enter the sewer, cable trench or operate in the equipment, to detect harmful gases or liquid vapors.   

6. Gas detector calibration: temperature, humidity, life and exposure to gases and other conditions can affect the signal output of the sensor. Calibrating your instrument can compensate for these factors and ensure the accuracy of the instrument's readings. To achieve maximum accuracy, you need to calibrate your gas detector regularly. This should be done at least once a month.
