The trending hashtag #LetTheEarthBreath has reached over 1.7 million tweets. This relates to the protest action of NASA scientists on April 6, 2022. In the video showing Peter Kalmus and other scientists crying while voicing global climate change warnings and captured in Los Angeles. The video went viral on social media and went viral after being shared millions of times.

The hashtag movement also provides information to the public to help save the earth. Simple things to do are:

Delete E-Mail

E-Mail stacks on our gadgets can produce carbon emissions that cause global warming. For this reason, we help reduce carbon emissions into the atmosphere by deleting E-Mail messages and don't forget to clean the draft garbage too.

Throwing Trash in Its Place

There are still many people who do not have the awareness to dispose of waste in its place. We can help by picking up and putting trash in the trash and reminding each other.

Save Electricity Usage

One of these bad habits should be paid more attention! Unplugging the charger cable for laptops, cellphones, rice cookers, and other electronic items can help the earth and save energy sources so they don't run out quickly. Don't forget to turn off the lights when you don't need them.

When turning on the air conditioner, close the doors and windows

Closing doors and windows when using air conditioning, not spraying perfume in the open, and reducing open burning outdoors are all things that can help reduce the degradation of the ozone layer in the atmosphere.

By protecting ozone, global warming can be minimized and the UV impact is not getting worse.

Reduce Plastic Usage

Plastic is a material that is difficult to decompose. There are so many bad effects of plastic for the earth. Therefore, we should reduce the use of single-use plastic. Always bring a tote bag for shopping, and refuse when the seller puts your groceries in plastic.

Save Water Usage

About 71% of the earth is water, but only about 3% is fresh water that we can use for our daily needs. Therefore, let us be aware not to be wasteful in the use of water. Because water is the source of our life.

Plant a Tree

Trees provide oxygen for our breathing needs, and help absorb the CO2 we produce. For this reason, we plant and care for more trees to help preserve the earth. If you have trouble taking care of it, you can donate tree seeds to nature-loving activists.

From now on we take care of the earth. If not now, then the earth will be more damaged before we even begin. If you can't fix it, at least don't break it! Let's Save The Earth!
