Does the Bible tells us to give thanks for a few things? Give thanks if this is right for us? No, we are told to give thanks for everything!
That doesn’t mean we have to thank God for what the devil does. But under any circumstances, whatever they may be, we can thank God for His goodness. We can thank God that we have another opportunity to believe and trust Him. We can thank God that we have another opportunity to exercise our faith and see His faithfulness and righteousness done for our sake.
Those Christians who are full of the Spirit are also full of gratitude and praise. They are full of songs; they sing and melody in the heart of the Lord, they are full of gratitude and praise to God.
Whatever happens, be thankful. Praise God, no matter what your circumstances. Praise God, whether you like it or not.
Satan will not hang where people glorify God. The devil can't stand it! When you start praising God, the devil will shut up, pull away, and deviate from your path! The devil does not suffer when we glorify God too! Each of us is anointed to pray and glorify God. If you do not feel anointed when you start praying, stay in the presence of God long enough and wait for the anointing to come. If you offer a sacrifice of praise, that is, if you praise God even when you do not want to, the anointing will come.
When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, giving thanks is such a way of life that you do it unconsciously. it is so much a part of you that praise and gratitude make it a natural expression of God.
When you are annionted, thanksgiving will constantly flow from your mouth to God. If it was hard for you to praise God for the trials and tribulations you were experiencing at the time, if you start praising and thanking God, you will regain your joy and praise! you will return your Thanksgiving! Praise and gratitude will start slipping out of your mouth again. You will be full of gratitude and joy.
