Destroying Castles Hello every one, hope you all had a lovely and happy Sunday. Yesterday, I was going through and article by @Princessbusayo titled " Saturday sparks",where I came across a quote which really made alot of sense and gave me an idea of what my next article should be. She said and I quote; " Be happy for others when they are doing great, because your own time will definitely would definitely come and you would be congratulated too". When we were kids, during playtime at school or at home,we often play on sand dunes that has been set aside for some building construction . Well, we had a lot of fun playing with sand as kid as we would jump here and there and scream at the tip of our voices with hairs filled with sand particles. Our mothers would always have a tough time bathing us or washing our clothes, Lol. Sometimes, the artistic children would engage in building beautiful castles on the fine and moist sand using their feet, empty cans and bottles as the perfect mould. Looking back, I wondered whether biulding such castles was among the factors that influenced to a larger extend the creative genius of a lot of young adults today. Out of envy and jealousy , a kid might come around from the side and stomp on a more beautiful castle of another child and destroy it. A fight might ensue between the two children and one could get hurt on the sands. As I grew older. I tend to relate this childhood experience to everyday life. How many tines have we all witness beautiful friendship and relationship burnt down to the ground as a result of explosive anger , jealousy, insensitivity and thoughtlessness. Sometimes, some of the people we have around us, people who we take as friends and relatives do not actually want the best for us. They discreetly try to pull you down when you are obviously a step or two ahead of them . Trying to destroy the hard work and reputation of an individual who never saw you them as an enemy, to me is about the eighth wonder of the world and should be classified as the eighth deadly sin. The time and energy spent in engaging in such vile and comtemptible actions, if channelled into their own personal development will definitely be more gratifying and rewarding both in the long and short term. As humans, we have come to live for each other and we should always love the good that has happened to our neighbor. Who knows, ours could happen the next minute. I know there are some folks out there that find it hard to resist the temptation of ruining another person's joy. But its also important to bear in mind that, destroying someone else's castle (business, marriage, relationship etc) will never raise your own castle neither would it make it stronger. In most cases, one fails disgracefully in such an evil attempt and the whole world gets to know the kind of person he/she is. The castle that he/she tried to pull down tends to continue grow stronger and more beautiful every other day. And the owner of the castle will always be mentioned as a shining star to others . The malicious and bitter fellow would be the loser at last and no one would want to cooperate with such persons in building their own castles since they have already been known as poisoners of good will. ******************************* Thank you so much for taking your time to read, Yours lovely Bilqees ππππππ

I agree with you, humans are envious, it is our nature. It takes a great deal to not envy another, and even the closest persons to us can envy us and we them.
sure... It OK to wish for yourself the blessings of another person or tap into the grace, but abnormal to develop a malice for that person by virtue of what God had done for him/her
Exactly, but people will feel a certain type of way that isn't right, and act like it is
what's up with kushyzee... Hope everything is OK at his end
Oh yes, he's fine. He's just taking time off to rest after 3 weeks of work. He should be back this new week
My regards to him pls.. Was quiet worried, thank God he's not ill
So sweet of you to have him in your thoughts. You're such a darling
My friend, you said great, exactly the one who plots for our disgrace, will be disgraced in the end, I completely agree with you. You said beautifully about a castle that is getting stronger every day, and we are becoming the star of that castle. This analogy was so sweet, I really enjoyed it...
Thanks ma'am, I knew you would like it π
I'm glad you knew me so well... ππβ€οΈ
honestly.. i pity those kind of people.. the kind that can't be happy for others.
They would never do well in life sis, That's the truth
You amazed me dear. With you writing you proved that you will be one of them whom I admire.
Thank you sir βΊ
Everyone of us are building castles and it will be unfair of someone trying to destroy otherΒ΄s castles all because of jealousy and envy. The truth is that if we do not focus on building our castles and channeling such into destroying others, it will greatly affect us in a bad way.
Funny enough, we know it's a bad or evil act but 'we' still do it. Hatred, jealousy and greed are practically part of this world and I don't think it'd stop one day, because they preach against this everyday and heater still go for it. Even on read here, there are people that are just angry anyhow on someone's progress and might do one or two things to wreck the person down. So bad
its human nature, it really can't be helped. But they can always be curtailed and ignored
Yeah. Sureπ―
I built a lot of sand castles when I was a kid, and nobody will even dare to destroy it because I was very violent back then, I go break person head π These days I don't even apply that same energy to people that go about destroying friendships and relationships, I tend to avoid them completely
Yayyyy....kush is back, we really missed you o. I asked Aimure and he said you were just relaxing, glad you are OK. Welcome back dear πβΊ
