1 Jack the Ripper Terrorized London: London's most notorious serial killer prowled the east end over a century ago, preying on prostitutes and terrorizing the area. He made his mark as JACK THE RIPPER by killing and mutilating at least five women. Dread grew as dead bodies began to pile up near each other within a three month period in 1888. The neighbourhood was horrified to a degree bordering on panic when news broke of a second female victim, the local newspaper called the killing ''Barbarous'', and said the mammer of murder was too horrible for description.

Even with all the eyes on the case, police were never able to put a face to the kiler. The FBI said local investigations were stymied because forensic technology and other advanced means of throughly investigating homicides were non existient.

Countless historians and criminologist, both amateur and professional have speculated on the killer's identity, but it appears jack the ripper took his secret to the grave.

2 The Black Dahlia's grisly death:The sight stopped a mother and her child their tracks. a naked woman was lying feet from the sidewalk. she was sliced cleanly in half at the waist, with not one drop of blood on her. The now infamous slaying of 22 years old Elizabeth short instantly captured headlines in 1974, with newspapers dubbing her ''BLACK DAHILA'' in part because she had dark hair and an apparent prefrence for black clothing. Her body appeared professionally dissected and one breast was cut off according to FBI records. The murder became the subject of 1987. The los angles police department told TIME recently that it is still investigating the cold case, although it did not provide and details.

3 The Zodiac Kiler Taunted police with Clues: The zodiackiller was no ordinary murderer, rather than avoiding the spotlight, he craved media attention and seemed to enjoy taunting police with cryptic notes and clues , as he left a trail of death behind him. The zodiac killer murdered five people seemingly at random, in nothern california in 1968 and 1969. He claimed in letters to police that there were dozen more victims, although that was never confirmed. his deadly rampage began in december 1968, when two teenagees were shot to death in a parking lot.About seven months later, another two were shot in a parked car, although one surived. That's when the local newspaper started getting letters from someone anonymouslyclaiming to be responsible for the slayings, according to San fransisco examiner who recieved the cryptic notes. The news paper said the letters contained coded messages explaining the killer's motive, as well as a key to help decipher his identity. This is the zodiac speaking''Ilike killing people because it's so much fun, it's so much fun than killing wild games in the forest, because man is the most dangerous animal of all. To this day, no suspects have been confirmed in the case, the san fransisco police department said the investigation is ongoing.

The killings came at a moment marked by intense rivalry between their competing record labels.B oth rappers were the top artists for their record companies. Many said their murder were a sign music feuds had gone too far.

Shakur was first killed in a drive by shooting in las vegas on sept 13 1996. At the time the 25 years old superstar's death row record label has been feuding with it's competitor BAD BOY. Six months later Bad boy's christopher wallace was killed in a similar fashion, the rapper was fatally shot in a drive by as he was leaving a music industry party in los angles. Both cases stumped police, in part because of uncooperative witnesses. The murder mysteries amassed their own collection of theories, including an unproven one that claims both rappers are alive and faked their own deaths.

Most of the time when you are looking for something, that thing is not far from you. But if you are desperate to get an answer or clues, it will run away from you. I didn’t mean to say Police don’t know there work.

it is funny to call murders mysterious when we have highly professionals to decode the cause. sometimes I feel some cases are deliberatly left off given some fishiness of some in-circle officials. whichever the case murder is a crime that must have severe punishment over to discourage.

Yeah true but then i feel lack ofmodern investigative equipment were unavailable at the time too, while some of the murders were deliberatery covered up i feel some were just too hard to crack.
