Asia is an interesting continent, because its countries have many incredible cultures and stories to tell. But, what is even more amazing is that this continent is considered to be one of the largest, in fact it is bigger than the moon itself.
You are probably wondering how this is possible. Well, let's say that the Asian continent is very large and the most populated continent on Earth so far, but its size actually exceeds the surface of the moon, because it measures 44,579,000 km² and the satellite about 38,000,000 km². Impressive, isn't it?
It is important to mention that the continent is full of riches, cultures and many places to discover, because it has 49 countries which are 69% of the world's population, so you could say that about 4 140 000 000 inhabitants.
However, due to the colonizations that have existed throughout the years, several languages are spoken there such as English, Spanish and French, but Chinese is one of its native languages. Without leaving aside that in some countries Hindi, Russian, Arabic, Indonesian and Bengali are also spoken.
In the Asian continent we can also find religions that are widely practiced in other parts of the world such as Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam.
I must point out that this is a very interesting fact, since I knew absolutely nothing about the Asian continent. Although I had heard that it was one of the largest, but that it has a surface area equal to the moon or more is completely incredible. It captured all my interest at the moment and to investigate a little clarified many doubts and to know more like some languages that I didn't know before as well as the religions. It is very fascinating what the world can offer us!
