It is very important to emphasize that the "Coriolis Effect" is very well known in science to refer to the spinning of water and air currents in different hemispheres. It also mentions that the squalls and hurricanes rotate in the opposite direction in the northern hemisphere and another direction in the southern hemisphere, but why is this? Well, actually this happens with the masses of water and even with the famous fact of the opposite rotation of the toilet water in different hemispheres. However, all this is conditioned by the Coriolis Effect.

Wikipedia

This effect was discovered in 1935 by Gaspard-Gustave Coriolis. However, this great discovery has helped us to know much more about the planet and the universe. What it leads us to is that in all rotating motion there is a coriolis force. In itself, it is a force that is produced due to the rotation of the earth on its axis. This rotation is what causes us to have day and night. It is important to mention that because of this rotation the trajectories of the objects that are in motion on the surface are deviated, but because of the force of gravity we cannot notice that the earth is rotating continuously and without stopping.

The trajectory of the objects are deflected to the right for everything that is located in the northern hemisphere and the same happens but to the left with everything that is in the southern hemisphere. This is one of the reasons why squalls or phenomena move in different directions when they are located in one hemisphere or another. However, when this effect happens, an acceleration occurs relative to the body that is perpendicular to the relative velocity it is carrying at that moment. So we can say that it is depending on the speed at which the object is moving, to see if the coriolis effect will be stronger or not.

Knowing about this subject is very important, because it takes place in various phenomena that happen on earth and is also responsible for the movements of ocean currents and air currents. In conclusion we can say that thanks to the knowledge that we were able to obtain about it, we have been able to understand a little more about the dynamics of the galaxies, as well as the water and air currents.

Personally, I did not know much about this subject. I must admit that in my in-depth research on it I was very impressed and I am really glad to have learned a little more about this effect. That's how this article came about, I still think that we all should know a little about it and I hope this little information has helped you.
