This grandiose Romanian capital offers an interesting first contact with the country thanks to its mix of Soviet architecture, wide avenues and imposing museums. It is in this way that the historical character in which Stoker was inspired to create his famous vampire Dracula is made known.
In this place we can find the National Museum of History that exhibits the portrait of Vlad Tepes also known as Vlad Dracul ("the Impaler") being the character that inspired Bram Stoker to write Dracula.
