One of the hidden beauties of Eastern Serbia is the Blederija waterfall, when the truth is not reached so easily, but it is worth every effort.

The source of the river of the same name is about 2 kilometers away from the waterfall. The height of the waterfall is about 7 meters and it is best to visit it in the spring, because then it is the richest in water. If you guess the right moment, you will have the opportunity to see a smaller waterfall, which is located on the side, when there is more water.

The reason why this waterfall stands out for its beauty is that the water flows over the steps of the sedimentary rocks, which is in the shape of a horseshoe. Thanks to that, the Blederija waterfall flows in the form of a curtain, and when it is especially rich in water, smaller waterfalls appear from the side.

At the source of the river Blederija, which is only about 2 kilometers away from the waterfall, the water is extremely cold, and in the area next to the waterfall it is somewhat warmer and is estimated at about 17 degrees.

It is believed that a shorter road passed through this area, which in the time of Emperor Trajan led to the famous Roman road.

In the immediate vicinity of the waterfall, there is the Sokolovica spring and a cave, as well as the so-called watermill mill.
