Lisbon is conveniently located between seven hills on the north side of the mouth of the river Tejo. Lisbon is a city full of contrasts, from modern high-rise buildings to Art Nouveau buildings, with mosaic sidewalks, brightly colored tile buildings and the medieval Moorish area of Alfama. The westernmost is the European capital and at the same time the capital of good wines and fado music. Today, as citizens of a united Europe, they are much more future-oriented, but they highly respect the personalities and great deeds of their compatriots created in the past around the planet. Also, they keep their customs and rich tradition in the right way and in moderation. The most famous part of that tradition in the world are the unique songs with the sounds of guitars - enchanting fado and the famous wines "Porto", "Vino verde", "Dao" or "Madera" which have been produced for centuries.
