Free Chicken Meal at a Local Agripark

I am a lover of nature and adventure. I feel invigorated when I am out with trees and green things. So whenever a chance to go see a beautiful agricultural park or something comes up. I am up and ready for it. Let me share with you wine of the agricultural parks that we went to this year. It was called PORTLAND AGRIPARK and its really nice for me.

Since we live in the city, we have to hire a multicab to take us there. The multicab that we rented cost only 1000 pesos for the whole day. Its very economical. And since we have someone who knows gow to drive, we need not hire someone and spend money for the driver. We agreed to gather at around 10:00 AM at my friend’s house. The call time was a bit late for me actually, but I was okay with because we went to my brother in law's house for a sleepover. When all of us were there, we went to pick up the foods, good thing the foods been ordered in advance, so all we need to do is go there and pick it up.

They call it food package, it has lechon and five other viands. According to my friend who ordered this, it costs around 9000 only. I was thinking about the price and the foods, I thought that its worth its price. The foods didn't just look yummy it was indeed yummy!

As soon as we pick up the food, we started our travel up to the mountain barangays. if I am not mistaken it took us 2 hours plus to reach the Agri-park. The roads were not easy because some parts of the way were not yet cemented. So, we had to really hold our seats if not we will fall on our faces or hit our head. But though it was a long and tiring ride. The view was so worth it. Because when we get there, it is very relaxing.

So yeah now, let me take you to a trip around the beautiful and relaxing place called PORTLAND AGRIPARK through the pictures that I got.

This is what the resort looks like when we came near their gate. The parking area is a little far from the resort itself. The gate is where the parking area is. The guard says that we can have our muticab send us inside the resort but it can’t be parked inside to avoid crowding. So, we rode back in the multicab and got off when we finally got our things into the cottage that we rented. What’s amazing abut this mountains resort is that the snacks and drinks are not expensive. You know, it’s a common thing that when you get onside a resort the process of almost everything at their cafeterias is doubled sometimes even tripled but here, no its not, it is very cheap. Plus, out of the 150 pesos that you pay as an entrance fee, you get a chicken meal out of it for FREE. Yeas for free! Isn’t that amazing?

This is the first set of cottage that you will see when you get past the entrance. Right there and then you will notice that they are very clean ang well organized. The curtains on each of those cottages are clean and the floors are well swept too!

Look at those elegant cottages. They're so lovely right?! They seems like the one that we see on a Bali-inspired resorts! So nice indeed!

This is the view form our cottage. We rented a big one so we will have enough space for our things and plus we had some friends who will join us in the later part that day. So we made sure that we have enough room for everybody. Our cottage is near the pool area not really that near though, just enough that we can see the nice view of the pool.

This is the view from our cottage. Lovely and relaxing,right?! The sun was shining so bright that day. The temperature was so hot but when you jump into the pool you will feel like you are bathing in a tub full of ice because its so cold. They say that the water in the pool comes from a mountain spring nearby. You can even drink out of it because its sweet. I mean not the ones in the pool but the ones that come out of the faucet. We tried it and yes it was true! The water was sweet and has no aftertaste at all. So naturally refreshing!

They are all lovely aren't they? I enjoyed going around taking pictures of them. They all glisten under the sun that day. Seems like talking to me telling me to come take a picture of them. And so I did.

That was indeed a beautiful relaxing day at a beautiful and relaxing place. i was so glad we went with our friends that time. It was worth the hustle and bustle of getting there. It seem to like a hidden paradise in the mountains! I would surely go back one day. Bye for now, Portland Agripark!
