Beware of your body
No one has ever hated their body, but they nourish it and take care of them.
WHAT IT MEANS: This biblical principle encourages us to do all we can to take care of our physical health. Research shows that many health problems are linked to personal lifestyle choices. Therefore, making the right personal choices can lead to better health.
WHAT CAN YOU DO:
Nutrition. Take control of your diet by eating healthy foods and drinking enough water.
Stay active. Physical activity can improve your health regardless of your age, even if you are disabled or limited by a chronic illness. While your loved ones and caregivers can help you with your exercise program, only you can make it work!
Get enough sleep. Prolonged sleep deprivation is associated with serious disease risks. Many do not get enough sleep because of the choices they make. But when you choose to get enough sleep, you are choosing to live better.
AVOID INJURY HANGERS
Let us purify ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh and of the spirit.
WHAT IT MEANS: It is in our interests not to contaminate our bodies with harmful substances such as tobacco products, which are known to be a major cause of illness and death.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Enter a departure date and mark it on the calendar. Just before that day, throw away cigarettes, ashtrays, lighters, and any other accessories associated with this bad habit. Avoid places where other people practice such habits. Talk to supportive friends about your decision.
TAKE SAFETY.If you are building a new house, also make a parapet for the roof, so that you don't spill guilt blood on your house if someone falls.
