I read the story of a couple who were traveling with their donkey and when they first walked past some people without riding the donkey, then the men said, " you fools, what is a Donkey for but to ride upon? ", so they both sat on the donkey.
After some time, they met other people who said, aren't you both ashamed of yourselves for riding upon the donkey?
Do you want to kill the donkey? they asked.
The man then ordered her wife to get a ride, but they haven't gone far when they met other people whom one of them said to the other "stupid man, he should have ridden the donkey not his wife because he is the boss".
Later, he instructed his wife to come down for him to have a ride. He hasn't spent much time when they met two men, one of the men said to the other; "what a selfish man!
He should be kind to his wife".
The couple was troubled and thought for what they could do for sometimes until they resolved to look for pole, tie the donkey, and put it on their shoulders.
They placed the donkey on their shoulders and amidst the laughter of the people, they didn't stop.
When they got to a bridge, the donkey kicked and caused the wife to lose her own part and the donkey fell into the water and was drowned.
Instead of deciding on their own and make the best decision, they were controlled by people's words and later made the wrong decision.
In your journey of success, people will give you thousands of reasons why you should quit.
They will frustrate, criticize, insult, and embarrass you, but you shouldn't let them detoured you.
It's your life, you should never let anyone censor you.
Only you have the key to your life.
Face your journey, be committed, and most importantly, never forget to involve God.
