I once read a story about elephant, that a baby elephant is trained at birth to be confined to a very small space, Its trainer will tie its leg with rope to a wooden post planted deep in the ground. This confines the baby elephant to an area determined by the length of the rope.
Though the baby elephant will initially try to break the rope, but the rope is too strong, and so the baby elephant learns that it can’t break the rope. It learns that it has to stay in the area defined by the length of the rope.
When the elephant grow up into a 5-ton colossus that could easily break the same rope, it doesn’t even try because it learned as a baby that it couldn’t break the rope.
This is how so many people are also living their life, they are restricted by their background. They don’t believe they can achieve more than they have achieved in the past, they don’t believe they can achieve greatness in life.
Some have already given up on themselves to the extent that they don’t have dreams or goals because they know they cannot achieve it.
I know life can happen to anyone at anytime but that shouldn’t stop you from being optimistic about your future because what you’re going through and where you are now is not your destination, it is just your stepping stone to greatness, you have something in you that the world is waiting for.
One of the worst thing you can do to yourself is to limit yourself by what’s happening around you or what you have been through before or what you’re going through.
You shouldn’t limit your life by what you have gone through in the past or what your parent went through. What you’re going through now shouldn’t stop you from believing that the future is bright.
You’re destined to succeed but you have to decide to succeed.
You shouldn’t be limited by anything because you’re unlimited.
You need to rise up and believe you can achieve greatness in life because you can.
This collosal thoughts of limitation has emboided at whole number of people to a particular place.
