The very first thing he said as I heard him this morning was:
"It is not what you don't have that limits you, but it is what you have but refuse to use" . "Steve Harris"
Refusal not to use what you have could be as a result of lack of self exploration, the ignorance of what you have, ignorance of how to use what you have, and even where to use what you have.
It's called refusal because cognition is a characteristic of man, and he is capable of doing and achieving just anything he wants to if only he tries and keep trying.
All you need is not just far from you, it is not around you, it is not just close to you. It is in you.
Most limits stem from mindsets and self propounded theories that makes one feel like he needs the resources of the whole world to achieve a goal or a plan without realizing these resources sought for, just lies within them.
Such ignorance can be first traded out through knowledge and information acquisition that is relevant to your field.
It's quite obvious too, that people have had knowledge of the great potentials they carry inside of them, but is sorta sad that they do ignore the responsibilities and processes involved in shining their lights.
Sometime ago, some of my Boss's working tools got missing at my work space, and he shouted in demand for it. After a while we were all assembled together, and he preached a sermon on the "tool miss" topic.
📣📣 He said, All you guys here, I can never curse you for stealing my tools, but the fact is that, even if you take all the tools and even take this workshop, you can never be richer than me because it's not the tools that made me rich, but what I have in this head . (As he touched his head)
It is better whoever does that should repent.
(And the congregation of my fellow trainees departed to their various positions. )
That's a nice sermon you know.
My boss is one of the people I think of that was born with Technical sense.
He does amazingly in Engineering innovations and creativity and I wonder if he was born that way.
It is said that people were born with certain skills, and others not.
But which ever way, I know that these skills are developed or learnt and mastered.
He wasn't born that way, I keep telling myself. He developed and worked it out, that's why I have hope that smartly working out myself, I too can be more and you too can be more.
We are created to be light in one way or the other, and we sure should be. There is no benefit in hiding or just keeping out the very light you have been made to shine.
Your inner circle has experienced you for long, find ways to reach out to the world, someone may just be out there waiting for the light that is possessed by just you.Â
If you hide it, or keep it to yourself, you make someone's child to suffer in wait unknown to you.
It doesn't have to be comfortable, it just has to be done because man is created be comfortable.
If there is a push against all comfort that supports mediocrity to be our better selves, then, not only will the sky be our limit, but we'll extend happiness to someone somewhere round the world which is the best to do.
We all have our various uniqueness, and these help us see the world differently.Â
If only we Trade on it, the little effects combined together can make the world at large to be better.
Very well composed article,👌 keep it up 💪
