Overthinking on something is not good for us. It create headache, makes you angry, give tension and sometimes sadness also. It happen when we are free and some topic stuck in our mind and we can't stop ourselves on thinking about this.
Better option is that keep yourself busy in work, spent time with family or friends and share matter with someone whom you think they can help us.
So no to think so much on something specially when it is negative.
Always stay positive and keep doing work.
