And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.

Colossians 2:13

You will never be assured of the unmerited favor of God until you are confident that God has pardoned your sins. Beloved, I want you to know that your sins are forgiven not by the wealth of your good deeds, but by the wealth of the favor of God (unmerited merits). Any sin of yours – past, current , and future – is forgiven. Do not draw a timeline that will give God your sins forgiveness. Some Christians claim that their forgiveness only lasts from the moment they are born to the day when they become Christians. From now on, they believe they must take very vigilant measures if they risk their salvation. This conviction is only unwritten. Colossians 2:13 explicitly says that all our sins have been forgiven.

Does "everything" to you mean the same as to me? My Bible states that through Jesus' one sacrifice on the cross all our sins were forgiven. Once and for all we were forgiven! In the Ancient Covenant the high priests had to give up daily sins offerings. However, the entire and all-perfect sacrifice was given by Jesus, our perfect new high priest, "Once in His offerings" (Hebrews 7:27). On the crucifixion he took all the sins you committed in your life, and paid the full cost for your sins once and for all. For the future sins Christ does not have to be crucified ever. Indeed, all your sins were when He died on the cross in the future. When you have accepted Jesus into your heart, then all your sins have been forgiven totally! Quillbots' text will be rewritten. Now that you know that the debt of your sin was fully cleared from you by Jesus, do not expect God to deal with you according to your sins. Do not imagine when something negative occurs that God comes after you because of what you have done in the past. Take God instead at His Word and wait for you to take advantage of the high price that Jesus paid on the cross. We have sowed nothing good, but we have earned every blessing from Jesus. That's called unmerited favor, my friend. And you honor what He did for you by thanking Him and awaiting that blessing every day.
