For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

Isaiah 54:9–10

1 Peter 5:8 advises, "Be sober, be careful; for the divine is walking around like a roaring lion, whoever he may delight." I know that the lion rumbles to threaten, to make him fearful; but I wondered what fear the devil was trying to inculcate in the believer. We have to allow the Bible to understand the Bible. Our interpretations can not be based on our professional history or experience.

One day, when I came across verse 12 of Proverbs 19 I read: "The royal wrath is like the lion's roar; but his favor is like the rustle on the grass." It's Jesus, our Savior! So when the devil moves like a roaring lion, he seeks to represent the king. He's trying to make you feel like God's wrath. Whenever you hear preaching, you fear the God is angry towards you, guess what? You were all rumbling! But remember it, dear friends: never again will God be annoyed with you. He has just to say that to us, but he wanted us so confident that in His Word He swore that he would never again get upset with us.

The verses of today are from Isaiah 54, only after Jesus' well-known messianic chapters of Christ's sufferings in Jesus Isaiah 53. Therefore, the triumph and spoil of His sufferings is expressed in Isaiah 54.

Do you why God never again will be angry with us? Christ 's achievements have been for us! God poured on his Son's body all His wrath on the cross. When all the judgment of God was completely tired of our sins, Jesus expended all the fiery indignation of a holy God against all our sins, and shouted, "It is done! "(Genesis 19:30). And God, who is good and just God, will not cast us today because we believe in what Christ has done, because our sins have already been punished. Holiness of God is on your side now. His justice is not against you, for you now. You are His beloved, with whom He is delighted with the work completed by Jesus!
