Culture in general is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular population. These include language, religion, eating habits, social customs, music and art. The U.S. Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition goes one step further in its definition of culture: ‘Culture is the understanding gained through social behavior and interaction, cognitive structure, and social taxation. So culture can be said to be the collective identity of a particular people that is formed by cultivating a unique social structure.

Christina de Rossi, an anthropologist at Barnett & Southgate College in London, said in an interview with Live Science: "Culture includes religion, food, clothing, dress, language, marriage, music, whatever we think is right or wrong, the way we sit at the table. The way we greet guests, the way we treat people we love, and at least a few million more things in our daily lives. ' Western culture refers to the culture of European countries and the culture of countries to which Europeans have immigrated, such as the United States. Western culture has its roots in the Greco-Roman period, the Christian era, and the rise of Christianity in the 14th century.

Other driving forces in Western culture include the Latin, Celtic, Germanic, and Hellenic ethnographic and linguistic groups. But now the influence of western culture can be seen in almost all parts of the world. Oriental Culture Oriental culture generally refers to the social customs of China, Japan, Vietnam, North Korea, South Korea, and the Indian subcontinent. Like the West, the culture of the East has been heavily influenced by religion in its early stages of development. However, oriental culture has also been greatly influenced by rice production and harvesting. This is what Dorian Q. Fuller claims in Pathways to Asian Civilization: Tracing the Origins and Spread of Rice and Rice Cultures.

And in Eastern culture there is not much difference between secular society and religious philosophy. As in the West there is a clear division between religious and secular life philosophy. Latin culture Many of the Spanish-speaking nations are considered part of the Latin culture. Interestingly, Central America, South America, and Mexico are called Latin America because they are Latin-speaking, with a predominantly Spanish or Portuguese-speaking population. Originally, the term ‘Latin America’ was first used by French geologists to describe the differences between English and Roman (Latin-based) languages. Spain and Portugal have influenced Latin culture the most.

Middle Eastern culture The Middle Eastern countries (20 countries) have similarities, but not all. Arabic is a common language throughout the Middle East. Besides, the religions of the countries are also one. And the Middle East is the birthplace of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. African culture The origins of all cultures in the world are in Africa. Originally, human life or the human species originated on this continent. And 60,000 years ago, people began to spread around the world. That's what the Natural History Museum in London says. However, according to other researchers, such as the Estonian Biocentre of Tartur, people from Africa began to spread around the world about 120,000 years ago.

The culture of each community is constantly changing, no matter what is constantly changing. Culture is a major issue in our present interconnected world. Because this world is made up of an ethnically diverse society. However, the world is also plagued by conflict due to differences in religion, ethnic identity, moral beliefs and cultural elements. Culture is no longer stable. It is now liquid and constantly flowing. And that is why it is no longer possible to identify any culture collectively. However, in 1972, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) issued a Charter for the Preservation of the Cultural and Natural Heritage of Indigenous Peoples.
