Russian villages in Kherson are taken back by Ukraine.

lets start!
In the southern district of Kherson, Ukrainian forces have liberated a significant settlement, hastening yet another Russian military withdrawal.
The 35th Marine Brigade can be seen raising the Ukrainian flag above Davydiv Brid in a video that the Kyiv defence ministry published amid rumours of many other neighbouring towns being taken back.
In the northeast of Ukraine, Russian forces have already been compelled to withdraw.
Additionally, they are currently being driven back in the south.
Their most recent failures occurred as battle raged in all four of the Ukrainian regions that President Vladimir Putin was scheduled to conquer via decrees.
According to international law, the annexation is illegal, and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has ruled that it is also void.
In a conversation with Mr. Zelensky on Tuesday, President Joe Biden gave him the assurance that the US would never recognise Russian annexation. They talked about $625 million (£550 million) in US help, which included Himars rocket launchers.
The southernmost regional capital, Kherson City, is still under Russian authority. But its hold on the entire region north of the Dnieper River, or Dnipro as it is known in Ukrainian, is beginning to appear weaker.
In the last 48 hours, Ukrainian forces have advanced south along the river's west bank, and now Russian units have been compelled to withdraw from a number of communities in the region of Kherson.
According to Mr. Zelensky, Ukrainian forces have liberated "dozens of communities" in southern Ukraine this week alone with "rapid, forceful movements.
The Ukrainian flag is once more flying above the village of Davydiv Brid, according to a social media post from Ukraine's defence ministry. Locals recorded Ukrainian forces passing through the community.

Lyubymivka, Khreshchenivka, Zolota Balka, Bilyaivka, Ukrainka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, and Mala Oleksandrivka were also liberated, Mr. Zelensky stated in his speech on Tuesday night, adding that this was "far from being the full list."
Yevhen Enin, Ukraine's deputy interior minister, said that 50 towns and villages had been retaken and that 3,500 people had been set free in Kherson, although he did not specify over what time frame.
Later, according to the defence ministry, Russian forces were demoralised and attempting to damage bridges in an effort to halt the Ukrainian advance.
There is no need to fear, said Kirill Stremousov, a Kremlin-installed administrator in Kherson.
The loss of settlements to the northeast of Davydiv Brid was not immediately confirmed, and the military spokesman for Russia made no mention of such losses.
However, it was evident from maps used to show Russian control that it no longer encompassed the settlements of Arkhanhelske and Velyka Oleksandrivka in the region's northeast and Dudchany on the Dnieper River's bank.
According to Rybar, a Russian military blogger, the army decided to retreat because it ran the risk of being encircled. Where the new point of contact will be "is not totally obvious," he said.
Roman Holovnia, the deputy mayor of Kherson who was banished, stated: "Many settlements were levelled - some settlements."
Residents of the city, aware that Ukrainian soldiers were moving forward, were ready for them, he continued.
Only 100,000 of the 320,000 individuals who had lived there before the war remained, according to Mr. Holovnia.
For weeks, Ukrainian troops have attacked Russian supply lines in the Kherson region, demolishing the few river bridges in the process. But up to this point, their southerly movement has been gradual. As Russian military rushed into the area from the Crimean Peninsula, which they annexed in 2014, they quickly took Kherson.
