Moscow attack: Day of mourning after 133 killed at Crocus City Hall concert.
Hello Family.
Hope you alla are good.
March 24,2024.
Let's Start,
Russia has declared a day of mourning following an incident on Friday night that claimed the lives of at least 133 people at a crowded Moscow concert hall.
TV broadcasters have changed their schedules, several activities have been cancelled, and flags are flying at half mast.
When gunmen broke into the Crocus City Hall and opened fire without regard to who was firing first, they also caused injuries to over 140 individuals.
The attackers claim to be members of the Islamic State (IS) organisation.
The IS official outlet Amaq published a picture of the four masked individuals they said were responsible for the attack on Saturday. Russia has not responded to the IS assertion.
Later, the organisation made extremely gory attack footage public. The BBC has confirmed the authenticity of the video, which shows one of the gunmen starting to fire on many individuals. This video will not be shown on the BBC.
Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, announced that all four of the attackers had been taken into custody.
The deadliest killing in Russia in almost 20 years, Mr. Putin denounced the shooting as a "barbaric terrorist act" in his televised speech on Saturday. He also reiterated prior claims made by Russian security services that the assailants had attempted to flee to Ukraine.
The assertion that Kiev was somehow connected to the incident was deemed "absurd" by Kyiv.
According to Andriy Yusov, a spokesman for the Ukrainian military intelligence directorate, "to suggest the suspects were heading to Ukraine, would suggest they were stupid or suicidal," the BBC was informed.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, charged that Mr. Putin was attempting to "blame" Ukraine for the incident. "This worthless Putin, instead of dealing with his citizens of Russia, addressing them, remained silent for a day - thinking how to bring this to Ukraine," he stated in his evening speech.
Videos of the apprehended suspects uploaded on pro-Kremlin Telegram channels have been matched by BBC Verify with details of two of the alleged assailants seen in the IS video and a still image published by IS.
The US National Security Council claimed to have alerted Russia earlier this month to a possible IS attack on "large gatherings," such as concerts, in Moscow. That was brushed aside at the time by the Kremlin as "propaganda" and an attempt by Washington to influence the most recent Russian election.
The White House declared on Saturday that IS was "a common terrorist enemy that must be defeated everywhere" and that it denounced the "heinous" attack.• Bullets and panic: the concert in Moscow that turned violent•What is known about the concert hall attack in Moscow

Numerous special forces troops assaulted the location, and numerous ambulances and medical staff were dispatched. Helicopters attempted to put out the flames by circling overhead.
