Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Rises 37% in Just One Week Before the Future April Halving Event

Ahead of its next halving event, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has increased by more than 37% during the last seven days.

A week ago, BCH, a Bitcoin hard fork that separated from BTC in 2017, was trading at $418.46. It is currently trading at $573.39.

The hash rate marketplace NiceHash currently projects that Bitcoin Cash's halving date will occur on April 3. Every four years, at intervals of 210,000 blocks, Bitcoin Cash's block reward is halved. This time, on April 3, the payout will drop from 6.25 BCH to 3.125 BCH.

By market capitalization, the fifteenth-ranked cryptocurrency asset has increased by more than 6% during the last day.

The current estimate for Bitcoin's own halving is April 19.

Rekt Capital, a pseudonymous cryptocurrency analyst, informs his 438,600 followers on X that BCH, DOGE, and LTC have all either broken their multi-year macro downtrends or are in the midst of doing so.

As of this writing, DOGE, the top memecoin by market cap, is trading for $0.219 per unit. The cryptocurrency asset rated ninth has increased by almost 17% in the last day and by almost 44% in the last week.

As of writing, the price of LTC, a peer-to-peer payments network, is $94.31. The cryptocurrency asset with the 23rd largest market capitalization has increased by about 9% during the last seven days.
