Documenting my Drupal Website Development

I’ve been working with the Drupal CMS for several years, staring when D7 first came out. I frequently find myself asking some of the same questions and feeling like I am missing some key pieces of the Drupal API. I’m going to use this space to start sharing the process that I am going through to migrate an old, outdated website to Drupal 8 with real code examples.

This original site was mostly written around 2006 using a heavily modified PHPGedView as the CMS. I’m certain it has a lot of bugs, based on the large number of error messages constantly saved to the apache logs. Expect to see posts on what I am tackling as I do a real-word transition of an existing site to Drupal.
