How to Be Successful?

What is that success, who invented it and why is it so common but not everyone has it?

What a wonderful trip! Thanks for holding this book. The one who can convince you to buy is called success if you are not hesitant. When you are released from your mother's womb after more or less nine months, that is also a success. Your mom and dad (Your dad and your mom for my friends from La Salle and The Ateneo) invented that success (which was approved by the Lord).

Not everyone becomes successful because they do not really know what "success" really means. You are the protagonist of this book. So do not think about who invented success. I'm probably saying, you don't know either. Good news is, you can invent something for you. I suspect, either you bought this book because you had a purchase (which you made for the first time in your whole life because of the extra savings), you stole it (from your classmate who has more capacity to buy than you ), you borrowed it (and you have no intention of isolating it), you won it in the raffle (instead of cake or stand fan) or you xerox it (because of the hardships of life).

Just the same, you’re holding a copy. During my eight years of writing the book and tracking the people who read it, it was really just a test in the beginning. Taste it. This is where it really begins — a little. Notice the horizontally challenged ones (this is what you call the fat ones so that they will not be offended when you call them fat), it starts with the taste and the desire to do so.

Just like the skinny ones, it starts with a little skip of the meal so there is just a little decoration that they can make a kite.

But that's really how it is. There is no guarantee that what is started will end. You are also not really sure if it will make sense in your life if you start and continue what you started. No wonder, so you don’t really give your 100%.

You are safe. You often say that you might just waste your time and effort. You will not give everything but if you can expect you want 100% will come to you. Do not worry. Long before you handle this book, countless hours you wasted.

Are you not used to it yet? Or maybe you're just not really aware? But that may be true and it may not be. If you think about it, safe is better than sorry. But have you also not noticed that everyone who has been successful has given more than 100% of their attention, time, heart and abilities? That is what I want you to realize before we set sail. (v. Go to the deeper part of the sea or "sea" from the shore). But do not literally go to sea.

You can read it even if you are just at home or in the classroom waiting for your professor who has no plans to enter (but will take the exam next meeting). The point is, if you read this, read it wholeheartedly. Give all the emotions and understanding you need to use the thing you have worked so hard to get in this book.

Suppose, if you are not just reading it from within, do not continue. Your time will be wasted.

When you were young, you knew what success was for you. Whatever the world says, promise is promise, dream is dream, fun is fun. You know yourself, you look for the one you love and you love what you have, you make a way and do not make excuses, you give wholeheartedly, you do everything you can and you know you have a plan

. You know, you are still that old kid. You can still love, give, forgive and make a plan for yourself. You are still the former child with dreams and aspirations to succeed. You are not a bad person. You may have made a mistake. Many may have intervened.

Eventually, we may realize that we already have a variety of successes that just need to be organized and expanded. Honestly, no one started at the finish line. Even the best Olympics player always starts at the starting line.

This is our starting line. This is where we start so that our critics do not laugh at us. With so many skeptics today, it is good to start right so that we are not laughed at and embarrassed. If you have a chance to participate in a fun run (fundraising is also said to be for a cause activity), try starting at the Finish Line to make a difference.

I’m sure you will get attention but it will not change the fact that you are still disqualified after the competition. It's fun because you can meet all the participants. Kaway ka and say hi! Or, ‘Aren’t you very different? So do not believe the saying "dare to be different" because you can also be "differently wrong."

If this is our starting line, before we run (do not literally run while reading a book because you will be dizzy, promise, do not try!), I want you to know that you are not alone. There are people just next to us but we do not see.

You have someone with you and if you have not found them, we will look for them. If you have something you want to achieve in your life, you owe it to yourself and you owe it to the people who will help you along the way.

Do not deprive yourself of the thing that you can get but you are afraid to try because you feel alone and maybe in the end, you will just applaud. Besides, it can be wrong. You can make mistakes. We all make mistakes. Just how you respond will tell what happens next.

Besides, no matter who reads the world’s best story, you will know that they are wrong and they are also wrong. It is also better to make mistakes sometimes so that you can see what is right. In this life, you do not need a perfect score. Like in boxing, when it comes to scorecard you have to be more just to win. In other words, you should have more successes than failures.

It’s always better to have more wins and fewer losses. That should always be the target. Or, maybe I should finish this book with pure intro. Just relax and make sure you don't take cutting classes or undertime because of it.
