Most bloggers who have been in the blogging business suggested to their followers that in order to take blogging seriously or to make money on blogging they are required to pay for website hosting and used WordPress.Org instead of the free platform like Blogger.com.
As a blogger who started without some capital it is very hard to shell out some dollars just to learn on how to blog and published their articles online. Most bloggers who suggested to pay for website hosting have their own commission as an affiliate of the hosting service they are suggesting.
I started blogging with the free Blogger.com platform and the site is hosted by Google. Contrary to popular beliefs that once you chose to use Blogger.com or any other free platform you cannot make money online, that is completely false based on my experience.
Most self-proclaimed blogging gurus have their own hidden agenda on why they published articles about starting your own blog using the more popular WordPress.Org platform and the need for host to publish our first article online.
Bloggers earned affiliate commissions on the hosting sites they suggested to their readers and their intentions is not to help you but to accumulate more income through partnerships with various hosting platforms giving them some portion of the hosting company's earnings.
Although during the first few days of blogging it is really bothersome to see the extension of your own blog created using the Blogger.com platform with the annoying (.blogspot.com) extension after the title of your blog but later on I will teach you on how to purchase a domain and how to host your blogger.com blog to Google Hosting.
I will discuss and demonstrate in next article on how to integrate your blogger.com blog into a more professional looking website without the annoying (.blogspot.com) domain extension.
Once you considered yourself as a newbie blogger, make sure that those so-called blogging gurus won't trick you into buying some hosting package from their recommended webhosting site and in return they will earn some commissions through their affiliate links.
Some bloggers just kept their secrets about the free hosting provided by Google, because it is indeed very easy to buy a hosting package and use the more popular WordPress.Org platform.
