Women make sixty percent of the world population. Empowerment of women is necessary for human development. No nation can progress without providing fundamental rights to all its citizens on equality basis. Gender disparity is most common in our times. Gender disparity is the neglecting of particular gender from all the fundamental rights. Liberty, equality and fraternity is the basis of empowering any race or gender.

Causes of women disparity:

Religious:

on religion basis women is deprived from their very basic rights. Right to education, freedom of speech, liberty and fraternity. Thousands of cases are reported everyday when women became the victim of domestic violence and work place harassment based on religious dogmas

Domestic:

On domestic front, women is discriminated on family terms. Cases of owner based killing are reported in every society.

Culture:

Cultural discrimination is prominent in our society. In interior sindh and khyber Pakhtunkhawa regions of Pakistan girls are not allowed to seek formal education as happen in malala yousafzai case.

Economic:

women are not given equal opportunities in economicall. They had to bear criticism of male dominated society. They also get less wages comparable to men. Meanwhile for petty jobs they have to work hard related to men.

Political:

Women are not given political rights. They are not given seats in parliament. All the upper authorities are reserved for men while women are left alone in this context.

Social:

women is barred from doing anything of her own choice. She is limited to go out of home or to do anything of her own choice. There is cultural and value based discrimination.

Impacts of discrimination of women:

Impact on Education system:

The inequality of women in education sector causes it to left behind. Scandinavian countries are the most prosperous and happy countries due to equality of women in all sectors. while the under developed countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan are left behind in this regard due to their poor women involvement policy. It is world known fact that very hardly women are getting few rights after Taliban came into power in Afghanistan

Impact on Economy:

As said by famous leader of Pakistan, Quaid e Azam that: 'No nation can reach the height of glory until its women is side by side to men'. Economic growth is next to impossible without empowering work. As women is more than half of world population its participation in economy is necessary for economic development of any country

Impact on social fabric of society:

Society can't progress without uplifting its women. As said by Napoleon ' give me an educated mother i will guarantee you a prosperous nation'. The social, moral, cultural uplift of society is not possible without women empowerment.

Political impacts:

Initially women was not given right to suffrage in any society. Even the most civilised nations had given the right to vote in the late 19th century. When The voter turn out rate of women is low political structure of any society will not prosper. No democracy can flourish until women participate in political activities on equality basis. Meanwhile, women do bot have political awareness. They have lack of interaction to society and media due to which they are unable to vote the right person.

Thus, women empowerment is utmost important for the uplift of society in all spheres of life. Without empowering women the goal of human development can't be materialised. Therefore, there should not be any discrimination regarding women as they have proven their mettle in all walks of life. On positive note, many agencies and NGOs are working for protecting fundamental rights of women. Currently there is fourth wave of feminism. After first three successful waves there is a hope that fourth wave will ensure better future prospects for women
